A U.S. soldier's newlywed wife was detained on a Louisiana military base — and now faces deportation. Staff Sgt. Matthew Blank and Annie Ramos got married in March and Blank brought Ramos, who is from Honduras, to his base Fort Polk, Louisiana last Thursday. That's where they planned to live. There, she was to begin the process to receive military benefits and take steps toward a green card.
