Just for information Mick Hill has decided unfortunately that his position within the WFRA has become untenable and will no longer be part of the organisation and no longer post on this account. Take care everyone and remember #PlaySlowPlayFairPlayWell

@steve_pitt If you read my replies Steve it has been questioned and is under review. Some competitions introduce a local rule which doesn’t allow a retake. I am confident that before we get back to competitions the laws will be reviewed once more.👍

@RefereeWalking But that doesn’t follow law 14 Once the ball has been played by the whistle it should be a free kick if more than one step Why hasn’t this ever been questioned The outcome section is incorrect

I think someone from the Fa needs to have another look at their own rules Read the rule regarding the penalty kick and then read what happens in the outcome A free kick to the other side should be given not retaken when there is an incorrect penalty

@RefereeWalking No the law as it’s written states it is a freekick if something goes wrong on a penalty kick re-read it again

@steve_pitt They did, thats the law as it stands. A player who takes two steps and scores but has the ‘goal’ disallowed currently is entitled to a retake. As we say it is under review and was highlighted by the WFRA in a meeting we held with the FA regarding the laws of walking football.

@RefereeWalking I would’ve thought they would have proof read them before publishing
