@simonbarrow I too met him when he came to lecture at the Southwark Ordination Course back in the day. Somehow I never "clicked" 100% with his theology. But we are linked in that I share a birth day and month (but not the year) with him, as does one of the Buddha's recognised birth days.

@charliebelllive Indeed. So crosses in Christian churches should be - and generally, in most Protestant ones, are - left empty. Since Jesus is no longer on the cross. Or, for that matter, in the tomb. A crucifix is an entirely incongruous image to attach to John 19:41-42.
