Projects like this would be some of the hardest of all.
- It's a game adaptation and the second attempt.
- You have to balance the film and game crowd (which you should cater towards the latter).
- How reference-y or story focused should it be?
- So many possible story options.

If Capcom leans into the silly absurdity of it all, I think this will do great. Based on the trailer, it looks like they're mostly doing just that.
It'll be very impressive if Capcom pulls this off because it's another very challenging film project in terms of pleasing people.

@HMBohemond It’s funny watching everybody respond in terms of how scared they are to get a trash pull. It’s the kind of thing everybody dreams of but then realizes, “Wait, but what if I get a flagpole for a head? Or what I if die instantly?”.

Quirks are just the X-Gene but in an actually well written setting, up to and including the randomness. You got the characters who rolled " I can control the strong nuclear force" alongside characters who got crab claws or prehensile eyebrows.
Stands meanwhile are a safe bet in terms of raw power, with user skill being a deciding factor.

@NerdiestNic All of these should be pretty reasonable in terms of content concerns and there’s a great variety of genres (from shonen to romance) as well as time periods from classic to mid-2000s to currently running series.

@Strangeland_Elf Those last few episodes really fumbled a lot:
- Vash's decision to shoot was immediately skimmed by and never be mentioned again.
- Knives saves Legato just to kill him instantly.
- Knives turns "good" way too easy.
- Tesla had no purpose.

@Strangeland_Elf Right? Stampede did well with it's ideas even if they were a bit cramped, but then Stargaze gradually fumbled more and more.
With so much being changed, I would've honestly been fine if Legato became the new main villain because they did Nai's arc well in Stampede.

I can’t stand fake shit in general, this directly falls under that for me. I will play devils advocate and say social media pressure doesn’t help and can force people to become performative the bigger following they have, that’s just human nature.
Nonetheless it isn’t an excuse to lie about mundane things about what games you’ve played. You’re allowed to keep your privacy, but why boast about games you have never played? Let alone make an entire persona out of it, which is asinine.
I did not have any direct issue with her, I had initially followed her when I first made a Twitter because I was like “oh cool a Zelda account”, but then the posts started getting really preachy and leftoid sounding so I unfollowed

Her response over the latter to me was, “white people dont deal with racism so it’s okay to say”.

Her blocking me remains one of the greatest things to ever happen.
