@ItsOurDave Someone who lives and works locally had an intestinal blockage. Jeremy and his wife Laura took her to hospital and she had lifesaving surgery which was given as a result of his quick thinking when she collapsed in his presence. Hence my comment… !!

@AlisonMoyet My late mother was in New York and retired at 73. I am hoping to work until that age if not beyond. Like yourself, I’m a professional singer, as well as a choir leader and singing tutor. I’m also physically disabled. Time will tell.

I see the proposal that retirent age should be raised to 75. My question is - Where are these jobs going to come from? Given that the young and mid-lifers alike are struggling to find work.
