@ELC_Alberta The Plan For Parks says parks are for people (they’re not; the Parks Acts says so). It barely mentions wildlife, never mind protecting habitat. Coincidence that Parks - by definition, protected areas - are not in the Ministry of Environment and Protected Areas? I think not.

Earlier this year, the Alberta government released two major policy documents: the Plan for Parks and the Crown Land Recreation and Conservation Strategy. Together, these two policy documents guide how all public lands in the province are managed and protected.

House prices go up significantly in some areas because of proximity. 🤷 We chose to live where we are, knowing that there would be a commute.

Yes!! This is a real frustration of mine. Why should I have to donate my time and money to my employer just in order to do my job? Commuting is travel for work.

Since that's a non-starter, so is the idea of paying for a commute. In 32 years of working, I only once lived more than a 20 min walk from my office. Live closer.
