@acoyne We don't have an auto industry. "Our" auto industry is all satellite plants owned by foreign companies. They can move the work wherever and whenever they please.

@HayesTSN You want a topic for overdrive tomorrow? Talk about the heart of this team. Never give up. Fight to the end. Much much more than the sum of its parts. Their stars actually show up in the playoffs, unlike that other team in T.O. that plays on ice. Talk about that.

It's really too bad, @dallascowboys . With that offense, you would be a Superbowl caliber team if your defense could make even a single stop. But they can't, and so, you aren't. Allowing Dowdle to average 6 yards per carry? Cmon now.

@Kayserinsisi @jen_keesmaat you missed the very important word “public” disclosure. Which means journalists get to ask and press him on those things.

“I think you are lying” isn’t journalism; it’s the laziest form of performative cynicism, and our public discourse is worse for it. Mistaking this for a ‘tough question’ is pathetic. Be tough. This isn’t tough.

@KirstyDuncanMP We need to greatly increase research funding in Canada, so that Canadian researchers do not need to rely on US funding. It should have never been the case in the first place.

This is unacceptable.
Researchers must be protected and supported.
They must be free to explore, collaborate, challenge thinking of the day, and present inconvenient truths.
Academic freedom is sacrosanct.   caut.ca/latest/2025/03…

You saw it. Mark Carney has been sworn in as Canada’s 24th Prime Minister today. I had him in the red chair 13 years ago and had a sense that this would be a part of his journey. It’s interesting to see how people’s paths unfold, especially when you get a glimpse of their drive early on.  During that same interview, we dug into some big topics, including the challenges of navigating economic policy and international relations, particularly with the U.S. With tariffs on a lot of people's minds, here’s a revisit with this quick clip.

@angie_rasmussen Sure. But birds and humans have very different gastrointestinal anatomies. From what I understand, In birds, HPAI can be shed in feces, but this is a result of viral replication in respiratory and intestinal epithelial cells and not viral survival in the GI tract itself.

About half of the dairy workers who test positive for H5N1 report being blasted in the face with raw milk. Cats & wild animals drink raw milk or eat raw meat and die from H5N1. We should not assume humans aren’t susceptible by this route. Everything this man says is untrue.

The US steps down from leading the world in public health, so Canada is stepping up. Vaccination saves lives and Canada is showing the world their value. I'm not very proud to be an American these days, but I'm very proud to live in Canada. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Justin Trudeau@JustinTrudeau

Canada’s partnering with @gavi to help provide lifesaving vaccines to 500 million more kids around the world. That’s half a billion kids growing up safe and healthy, protected against deadly diseases. Vaccines save lives. Canada’s proud to do our part.

Brought my dad to work today. A retired union painter, all he did was stare at my degrees 😊 Degrees that wouldn’t be possible without his emphasis on prioritizing education and working to afford the schools I attended. Thank you, Dad😊
