Today I am asking the Health Secretary to put in some more hospital beds so we have more NHS capacity. That would be a good use of the extra money.

@UnaRoseauthor @Adam_Smith_PHD @johnredwood I worked at NW Nightingale Hospital (no inverted commas because it was a hospital with multi disciplinary nursing medical and support teams and all the necessary equipment we needed) We had 6 EOL patients and I assure you @UnaRoseauthor they were treated with the utmost dignity

@Adam_Smith_PHD @johnredwood One nurse told me the problem with the Nightingale (publicity stunt) "hospitals" was that they weren't set up with end of life equipment and for anyone dying these places really would have been medieval experiences level of "care" or rather a place to pile the bodies high!
