We would have bust a gut to get him into the same SEN school that offered him a place 3 years ago, that the LA has just consulted with, and now turned him down.

@CF_Farrow Surrey County Council Children's Services couldn't get SEN places before VAT was added. They are and have been utterly useless in SEN provision. They also used to refuse to start the Statement process and fail to write adequate Statements. Just move to better area.

What I find amazing is that the CPC464 had just 64k of memory (the Spectrum had 48k!) These days that's only enough for a small picture or a few seconds of audio. How did those games programmers do it back in the day? 👏
