@swede_hear43318 @Blue_Sokolov last time someone burnt a quran in sweden he got shot and killed
English

@Samsonig1 @Blue_Sokolov In Sweden we can burn a Quoran stil and in Russia the gouvernment sends you to Chechens.
English

Russia bombed Chechnya so hard that the largest street in Grozny is named "Putin Avn."
US bombed Libya so hard that 20% of the Swedish population is now of a non-European background.
These are not the same.

English

@swede_hear43318 @Blue_Sokolov This is why sweden is ravaged by somalis and kurds russia is 72% russian all these oblasts except chechnya are overwhelmingly russian
English

@Blue_Sokolov Chechens deserve liberty and freedom. This was also a goal of the National Socialists to liberate the peoples in the RSFSR from the USSR.
Chechens, Tatars, Bashkirs, etc. They all need to be liberated from Russian occupation. This is the most beautiful map of dissolved Russia.

@KarKo25490005 @kage_urufu i mean its still north africa just the east of it
English

@Samsonig1 @kage_urufu Carthage was a bit late compared to China or Egypt, but if I'll count it. Also Egypt is Northeastern Africa not northern one.
English

@nocontextmemes Sad attempt at humiliating free thinkers of the internet.
It's clear that you count yourself among the rubes. Dripping jealousy? Check. Inferior comprehension skills? Check. I need not go on, do I?
Besides, heckin' huge Karma Redditors wear shirts of the best show ever: MLP.

@sumguy265 @DaidojisAbs It's wacky nationalism don't think im 14 for that
English

I find these maps funny because Americans don't realize how much middle eastern Christians (Armenians, Assyrians, Copts, even Maronites) hate Israel

@UwWtWaR @Xtra_coverdrive @GabeZZOZZ Oh that yeah i don't really know what he means by fake pictures
English

@Samsonig1 @Xtra_coverdrive @GabeZZOZZ Again I never claimed that, please learn to read.
This vatnik that responded to me claimed I was using a fake picture. Since we all know russia isn’t controlling these areas, it’s a valid picture.
English

@Samsonig1 @Xtra_coverdrive @GabeZZOZZ Did I ever claim that?
I can ask it again little vatnik:
Does russia control the areas that I show in my “fake picture”?
Yes or no?
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs first translation quite literally meant it died out , books were incredibly expensive and rare. You didn't translate the History of the Patriarchs or the Bible into Arabic "just in case." You did it because your priests, deacons, and wealthy elite could no longer read Coptic.
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs Every major source says it weakened significantly during early 11th century (due to hakim) and the first major translation of coptic into arabic happened in late 900s does not mean the language died out but it was gradually weakening until being replaced by the 12th century
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs yes that’s not true either it died out late 900s the leiden is how poor the grammar of most of the scribes were
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs i said it died out by the 12th and 13th century i said it was widely spoken in the 10th
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs people slowly transitioned from one langue to another just like any civilization in history that wasn’t the point the point was when your claim that it was widely spoke in the 13th century is false
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs But that is what happened they saw the writing on the wall and knew that coptic was gonna get wiped out sooner or later so they started translating their shit into arabic so atleast people will keep their faith but read in arabic
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs if that were true churches wouldn’t have been already translating its own history into arabic by the late 900 in later centuries like in the 13th scribes were literally thinking in Arabic and then translating it poorly back into Coptic for religious books. Scribes were literally
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs coptic died out by the 12th-13th century and started becoming pure liturgical from there
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs some scholars say copts were a minority by the 10th century and coptic was a pure liturgical language not used heavily
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs it survived because he stopped doing that shit in 1012 but it did alot of damage
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs annoyed him, banned the vegetable mulukhiya and the fish quraiz because he disliked them. their is also evidence of tongue cutting not from outside or inside egyptian sources it’s a symbolic exaggeration for church tradition coptic still survived after al hakim
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs He ruled from the year 996-1021 egypt was still predominantly coptic at the time and even if some converted people still spoke the language heavily
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs your jumping to the year 1100 when egypt was majority muslim. you are also panting the whole history with the brush of one mad caliph who forced all of Cairo to sleep during the day and work at night for several years, ordered every dog in Cairo to be killed because their barking
English

@prolifechloe @DaidojisAbs mate we aren't annexing you up to lebanon meant like bordering you not taking you
English

@liverfoolegy @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs Yeah they tried to hellenize us and failed and we could speak it but with the arabs they did it in steps first banning it in government then banning it on the street. schools and speaking it in homes during the fatimids they also cut out the tongue of people if they spoke it
English

@Samsonig1 @Bashmurian @DaidojisAbs If switching the government language counts as "banning with extra steps," then the Greeks "banned" the native Egyptian language for nearly a millennium before the Arabs even arrived.
