Isaacman says he has received assurances from HLS companies Blue Origin and SpaceX that their landers would be ready for low Earth orbit tests on Artemis 3 in late 2027. (NASA had been talking about Artemis 3 around mid-27.)

All of this is amazing, but I am particularly blown away by the new version of the raptor engine.

Three years since the first flight of Starship, the next generation is here. New ship. New booster. New engines. New pad and new test site. SpaceX engineers are working to solve one of the most difficult engineering challenges in history: developing a fully, rapidly reusable rocket

NEW: Elon Musk took $500 million in loans out at SpaceX, a move that would have been illegal at a public company. It's just one example of the years of financial engineering at the helm of his companies. Latest investigation with @susannecraig nytimes.com/2026/04/24/tec…

🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson on modern football debates: 🗣️ Ferguson: “People talk a lot about tactics today, and of course the game has evolved in that sense. Managers are more detailed, teams are more structured, and everything is analysed more than ever before. But at the end of the day, football will always come down to players and mentality. At Manchester United, we focused on building winners. That wasn’t just about ability, it was about character, how players handled pressure, and how they responded when things weren’t going their way. You can have the best system in the world, but if the players don’t have the belief or the personality, it won’t last. There were many games where tactics didn’t win it for us. It was the attitude, the refusal to lose, the willingness to take responsibility in big moments. That’s something you can’t always teach, but you can build it into the culture of a club. That’s why, no matter how much football changes, the most important things will always stay the same. Players win matches, mentality wins trophies. That’s what lasts.”

@Lori_Garver It is not that individual astronauts should not advocate for political issues, but when they say, “we as astronauts believe this,” it can backfire. Astronauts have a certain status that they should not abuse. That is what happened when 50 former intelligence officials weighed in

From the report’s findings: “Based on our analysis, if Axiom experiences design and testing delays in line with the historical average for recent space flight programs, the Artemis and ISS demonstrations may not occur until 2031.”
NASA Office of Inspector General@NASAOIG

After nearly two decades, NASA's next-generation spacesuits remain incomplete. Today, the Agency continues to face delays and is reliant on Axiom Space to develop both the Artemis lunar suits and updated ISS suits. Read our new report to learn more: go.nasa.gov/4cGjdRT
