Scope creep from "simple landing page" to full e-commerce before payment cleared is the most accurate freelancer horror story I've read. The signed contract fix is right but there's a second fix nobody talks about: showing the client a structured first draft early locks in the scope before they start expanding it. The page they see first becomes the reference point for everything after.

A lot of freelancers and agencies lose money, do free work, and chase clients, all because they skipped one step at the start. I learned the hard way. I’d agree to a simple landing page… and somehow end up building a full e-commerce store before payment cleared. 😭 That’s when I started using signed contracts. I spell out exactly what I’m delivering, the timeline, and how I get paid. Now, when a client asks for something not in the contract, I just say: “That’s not in the agreement, but we can add it for an extra fee.” Simple. Protects your time, your work, and your sanity. Don’t let anyone take advantage of your skills.

Happy to give honest feedback. The hero is visually clean but it's leading with product description before telling the visitor whether they're in the right place. "OS for Solopreneurs" is broad — the one sentence that would make it convert faster is who specifically and what problem disappears for them. What's the primary use case you're targeting?
