They need to reign people in and make it so that if something is written or shown to be one way (whichever comes first), then that’s what happened. I’m tired of stories that I like being retconned.

Filoni being unwilling to have his stories touched by books and comics will be the death of expanded Star Wars material. No Mandalorians/Master Luke allowed in books and comics that aren't adaptations of his shows is actual insanity. Literal chokehold on a corner of the galaxy.
