@DaveOCKOP Label it all you want. VVD said something similar. The question is WHY?

#LFC’s decision-makers remain fully supportive of Arne Slot. But the next fortnight is huge in the context of the Dutchman’s reign. Man City, PSG, Fulham, PSG, Everton. If they kick on, unrest will ease. If they wilt, the noise will be hard to ignore. nytimes.com/athletic/71672…

@BlueChipLFC We need some experience. Three kids and a declining VVD is not enough. We needed Guehi but instead we let him go to our rivals who just spanked us and started the beginning of the end of our season.

Is anyone actually surprised? Many would have predicted this today.

@AnfieldEdition I can no longer predict us winning any game. I haven’t been able to do so since before Burnley at home, which I predicted a draw. So sad.

No words. You think it won’t get worse and it does. We’re out of the FA Cup in humiliating fashion. Thoughts on today, Reds?

@ptgorst Probably should read Arne Slot suffers the worst defeat of his Liverpool tenure for now. You’ll more than likely be writing it again after one of the PSG games.

@henrywinter @Jay82_LFC It’s also sad seeing a team that were know for pressing and playing with intensity become completely timid over a summer.

Sad seeing Mo Salah’s decline and drift towards the exit. A great player in his prime, a joy to watch weaving through opposing defences and a magnificent role model. The one opponent he can’t beat is Father Time. Salah also playing in a Liverpool team bereft of belief. #MCILIV

If I’m PSG right now - I’m very much looking forward to playing this Liverpool side. You only need one goal and their heads drop. That’s the team talk already wrapped up.

@BrianDurand56 It’s ok, the players threw this game so they could concentrate on winning the UCL and/or qualifying for the UCL next season from the league.

If the owners are content to put up with this week in and week out and hope by some miracle things will somehow improve, then they are severely lacking in judgement and business sense. Tough times need tough decisions.

@AnfieldEdition I dread to think what the score is going to be against PSG. I mean, will we even get into their box to have a chance of getting a penalty?

If we get a penalty against PSG, keep Salah as far away from it as possible.

@BackseatsmanLFC It is. The three who went and refereed out there shouldn’t be anywhere near the Premier League let alone a City game. Webb said there was no conflict of interest in refereeing in a country that owns a Premier League team and that alone is why his position should be untenable

Mike Dean wasn't allowed to be involved in Liverpool/Everton games for 15 years because he's a Tranmere fan, but Michael Oliver can go and work for City's owners and still be involved in all of their games. Makes sense.

@BrianDurand56 Even if it was a pen, it’s no surprise, it’s Oliver. One of the three who reffed in UAE, where City’s owners are from. Shouldn’t be anywhere near the premier league let alone a City game. Just one of the reasons why Howard Webb’s position should be untenable.
