Edwards has traditionally been happy to earn the big bucks but not face the media or take questions when things are tough. I also can’t imagine he is really interested given the promises he was made about multi club is now shelved it’s all a giant mess. There is way more broken inside the club than has been reported. So many people ignored totally.

It’s always the manager who has front up to questions about his future. Think (some) people would be more receptive to him staying in post if there was occasionally more context/insight from those above him.

I think it’s a concern that the people making long-term decisions about the direction of Liverpool are only contracted to the club for the short -term. Sticking by your man makes sense if you’re all bought into a project. If not, you risk leaving problems for others to inherit.
