@shawngorham Any flip with uneven ceiling or walls this is basically a must. You end up with a worse looking final product if you try to fit directly to the ceiling but parts of it are showing through due to ceiling waviness

Cobie lists the top Crypto traders of all time
Su Zhu: "Had a hero run in 2021. He even sold the top and then for some reason bought back way too early with loads of leverage and got liquidated on the way down”
GCR: "Obviously”
Actual Advice BTC: "He would get super wealthy and then lose it. Kind of like Su Zhu. He passed away in 2020”
Light: "More active in Crypto than he's ever been. 2025 was probably his best performing year ever, based on what I know. Light is up there”
CL: "Sometimes seems really smart… and then sometimes you're like, is this guy the biggest moron on planet earth? I genuinely can't tell. He'll do the smartest thing you've ever seen in your life and then something insane right after”
Shoku: "A multi-generational talent. Super successful at several different things at the same time. He annoys me quite a lot because he's just better than me at everything”

I will keep beating this drum.
Hyperliquid is idiotic.
This is a very small 24-validator set, heavily clustered in Japan.
That cohort is responsible for consensus, signing bridge deposits and withdrawals, and publishing the oracle prices used for funding, margining, and liquidations.
What happens when Tokyo has a serious network disruption, like from a major earthquake?
What happens when a quorum is socially engineered? The HL bridge has over $3 billion sitting in it.
Bridge actions are clear when more than two-thirds of the staking power signs.
After a disputed withdrawal, the bridge is unlocked by signatures from two-thirds of the stake-weighted set.
This is an extraordinary amount of trust to place in a small, geographically clustered set of validator stake.
Every cycle, we learn an important lesson about exchanges.
And every subsequent cycle, we forget it.

I literally had to go see this for myself. Sure enough. Apple Maps has removed almost every town in Lebanon from the map while keeping every podunk town in Israel and Syria clearly marked.

Ethan Levins 🇺🇸@EthanLevins2
Apple has removed Lebanese village names in Southern Lebanon. As Israel invades, they are already setting the state to justify occupation. I’ve never seen something like this.

A fund will eventually smash $500M+ into the $HYPE books and we'll never see these prices again as the supply shrinks every single day.
The "large" sellers we see these days are nothing in comparison to the billions that were poured into inferior investments by funds this past cycle.
$10B+ into $ETH and it's down only. Billions into $SOL all underwater.
Sell everything, accumulate SPOT $HYPE & chill.

this is 100% false and insane to say at a time like this
source i worked at drift for a considerable length of time on trading infra
Flood@ThinkingUSD
Calling Drift a "decentralized exchange" was always funny to me. They used a Binance account much like Variational to just B-Book all the client trades and hedge it out on Binance Perps.

@ArthurLillard1 @randall_danger @uncledoomer Arthur you have some valid points here with the troop + anime connection. Still, japs in general are just amazing people. A very clean, polite and beautiful culture. I would take their overall culture over maybe any other on earth.
English

@randall_danger @uncledoomer you are coping.
you aren't watching japanese cartoons from 1917. you are watching anime from the 80's at the absolute earliest.
anime, as we know it today, is from the 80's.

Hyperliquid Annual Report 2025
Today, we're excited to release Hyperliquid's 2025 Annual Report.
What Hyperliquid, the core team, and hundreds of contributors have built this year is largely unprecedented in financial history. This report is our attempt to capture that extraordinary year with the rigor it deserves.
A few months ago, we created HRC because we felt a clear need to reduce information asymmetry and lower entry barriers for new participants through independent research. We hope this report helps do exactly that.
For us, it is a privilege to be part of this ecosystem and to have produced this work. Months of research, data work, debate, and collaboration across Four Pillars, GLC, and all our contributors went into every page. It means a lot to share it today, so please, let us know what you think and how we can improve the reporting going forward.
Enjoy the read. Some excerpts below, with the link to the full PDF.
