What I’ve seen of it so far amounts to surrender. Iran is again promising to negotiate nukes, nothing about missiles, support for terror proxies. We gained nothing from this war and spent billions. Soldiers died for nothing. I voted for Trump, reluctantly, three times. If the terms I’ve seen are true I’m done with him. It’s craven.

Only reason why no official MOU release until Friday(market closed), is so Iran can start "retaliation" without USA getting in the way, as market will be closed.

Well The Iranian Peace Deal is almost signed. Oil is almost back to what it was before the war. And the Strait of Hormuz is almost open. So we’re almost back to where we started from, minus 300 billion dollars. This is what I almost voted for.

Al Arabiya publishes 14 points from the draft memorandum of understanding between the USA and Iran. Provisions: 1. Ceasefire: Immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts (including Lebanon). The parties and their allies commit to halting hostile actions and threats. 2. Sovereignty: The USA and Iran commit to respecting each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity and to refraining from interfering in each other's internal affairs. 3. Timeframe: The parties must reach a final agreement within a maximum of 60 days (with the possibility of an extension). 4. US commitment regarding the blockade: The USA will lift the naval blockade against Iran, restore shipping traffic to pre-war levels within 30 days, and withdraw its troops from surrounding areas upon conclusion of a final agreement. 5. Iran's commitment regarding the blockade: Iran will ensure the resumption of commercial shipping from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman within 30 days by clearing mines and removing technical obstacles. 6. Reconstruction plan: The United States and regional partners will develop a plan for Iran's economic development with a financial volume of at least 300 billion US dollars. The implementation mechanism is to be established within 60 days. 7. Lifting of sanctions: The United States commits to lifting all types of sanctions (unilateral measures as well as UN and IAEA sanctions) in accordance with the schedule set out in the final agreement. 8. Nuclear issue: Iran reaffirms its rejection of nuclear weapons. The disposition of enriched material and other matters concerning nuclear activities will be addressed in the final agreement. 9. Status quo: Pending the conclusion of the final agreement, Iran freezes its nuclear program, while the United States imposes no new sanctions and does not increase its troop presence in the region. 10. Oil exports: Immediately after the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the US Department of the Treasury authorizes the export of Iranian oil and petrochemical products, as well as the associated banking, insurance, and transport services. 11. Unfreezing of assets: The US releases Iranian funds and assets in line with the progress of negotiations and grants the Central Bank of Iran full access to them. 12. Monitoring: The parties establish a mechanism to monitor compliance with the obligations set out in the final agreement. 13. Commencement of negotiations: Following the signing of the memorandum and the implementation of paragraphs 4, 5, 10, and 11, the parties begin negotiations on the final agreement regarding the remaining articles. 14. Legitimation: The final agreement requires endorsement through a binding resolution of the United Nations Security Council. From an Iranian perspective, this is a strong deal—rapid relief from sanctions and blockades, money, and UN-backed legitimacy, all without immediate, hard concessions on the nuclear front. It goes beyond the pre-war status quo (thanks to reconstruction funds). From a US or Israeli perspective, it is a compromise that ends the war but kicks core issues (nuclear program, proxy forces) down the road—potentially a "worsening" of the situation, as Iran, despite being militarily weakened, emerges politically strengthened.
