More manipulation!! 5 minutes before this announcement hit the tape: * $3.53 BILLION of notional volume was bought in the S&P 500 futures (ES) 3x more volume than any other time this morning. Suggesting: 1) Insiders had a heads-up on this news AGAIN. 2) The news was from US sources NOT Iranian ones. This is someone attempting to recover the market from Trump’s poor speech last night.

Let’s break down Trump's disastrous Iran speech: Americans needed clarity on three things. Trump delivered ZERO. (1) On the question of regime change, he played word games. So far, all we have done is replace an older Supreme Leader with a younger Supreme Leader. That’s not regime change. 
 (2) On the question of Iran’s nuclear materials, rather than promising to get them out of the country, Trump says we'll just watch those nuclear sites from satellites. (We were ALREADY doing that. No need for a war to do something we were already doing.)
 (3) Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, through which the Islamic Republic of Iran has a chokehold on the world economy? Trump says it'll "magically open up”. That's not a strategy. 
 We're in a WORSE position now than before this war started. At this point, the ayatollahs should send Trump a “thank you” card.

So, let me get this straight. Trump is now simultaneously claiming that he has won the war, is currently winning the war, needs help to win the war, and doesn't need help to win the war. All to destroy the nuclear program he claims he already destroyed last year.

If Democrats win the midterms and then the presidency, which they very likely could, there's a significant chance they will get to replace him with another Kentanji Brown Jackson. That would be a disaster for the country. We need to get young conservatives on the court right now. Alito, too. He's 76.

JUST OUT: Trump has raised with SecState Rubio and other top aides the possibility of withdrawing from NATO if allies don’t help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. officials said. He has discussed leaving NATO, or at least potentially finding ways to weaken the U.S. commitment.

🤦‍♂️ Iran has the same president it has had for almost two years: Masoud Pezeshkian. Neither Pezeshkian nor any other Iranian officials have requested a ceasefire. Iran would like nothing more than for the US to attempt a ground invasion. Trump is a buffoonish liar.
