You and Shadi have both benefited from Qatari largesse over the years — from an Islamist state that hosts terrorists with American blood on their hands, exploits slave labor, and launders influence through elites and elite institutions. 2. You are an Islamist and one of the most reliable amplifiers of Muslim Brotherhood messaging in Western discourse. The U.S. has designated Muslim Brotherhood branches as terrorist entries with bipartisan legislation introduced to codify that in statute. 3. You can attack but you can’t do basic research: we’ve written extensively at FDD on Qatari influence operations, including criticism of President Trump for the absurd idea of accepting a free plane from Doha. 4. Shadi seems perfectly comfortable attacking me, then outsourcing the follow-up to you. He should consider a better surrogate to conduct those attacks — especially one who isn’t so compromised.
