Vor über einem Jahr wurde bekannt, dass Justin Sun massiv Geld in Trumps DeFi-Projekt WLFI investiert hat. Zunächst stieg er mit rund 30 Mio. USD ein und baute seine Position später auf insgesamt etwa 75 Mio. USD aus. Kurz nach dem öffentlichen Start des Tokens kam dann der Bruch. Suns Wallet wurde geblacklistet und seine Token eingefroren. Seitdem hat er keinen Zugriff mehr und kann weder verkaufen noch reagieren. Was viele nicht wissen: Seine Position war zwischenzeitlich deutlich mehr wert als sein ursprüngliches Investment. Beim damaligen Tokenpreis lag der Wert seiner WLFI-Bestände bei rund 119 Mio. USD. Dann kam der Absturz. Der WLFI-Token ist seit Launch um über 70% gefallen, und Suns eingefrorene Position ist heute nur ein Bruchteil des ursprünglichen Invests wert. Er sitzt aktuell auf einem Verlust von rund 70 Mio. USD und kann nichts dagegen tun, weil seine Gelder eingefroren sind. Allein durch jüngste Kursbewegungen hat seine Position innerhalb von 24 Stunden weitere über 11 Mio. USD verloren. Jetzt äußert sich Sun erstmals öffentlich und erhebt schwere Vorwürfe. Er spricht von einer versteckten Blacklist-Funktion im Smart Contract, die es WLFI ermöglicht, Wallets einseitig einzufrieren und damit die Kontrolle über fremde Assets zu übernehmen. Zusätzlich kritisiert er die Governance des Projekts als intransparent und manipuliert. Abstimmungen seien nicht fair gewesen, sondern im Vorfeld gesteuert worden. Sein Fazit ist eindeutig: Das hat nichts mit Dezentralisierung zu tun.

You need a trade and fiscal surplus for that. The U.S. has a structural trade and fiscal deficit. The U.S. is a wealth extraction vehicle for the financial-industrial complex; it’s not designed to accumulate sovereign wealth for its citizens under the Federal Reserve system. Citizens are there to take on debt, and the government is there to pay interest to bondholders—not to build sovereign wealth. Just like the British Empire and the Bank of England once were when $GBP was the world reserve currency.

The petrodollar was built on one premise: you need dollars to buy oil. Iran is currently controlling the Strait of Hormuz, 20% of global oil supply, and charging a $1/barrel transit toll. They're not accepting dollars. They're demanding Bitcoin. A sovereign state is bypassing SWIFT, bypassing sanctions, and bypassing the Fed entirely. The petrodollar was born in 1974 when Kissinger tied oil to the dollar. It may be dying in 2026 in the Strait of Hormuz, settled in seconds on a timechain nobody owns.

BREAKING: US M2 money supply jumped +4.8% YoY in February, to a record $22.6 trillion, marking the 24th consecutive monthly increase. Money supply is now ~$700 billion above the March 2022 peak. Since the 2020 pandemic, M2 has surged +$7.1 trillion, or roughly +$1.2 trillion per year. Since 2000, money in circulation has grown at an average annual rate of +6.2%. The US Dollar is losing purchasing power at a historic pace.

Quantum-safe Bitcoin transactions. No fork required. Works today. Here's how it works in simple terms. Today: you sign a transaction with a private key. Quantum computers will be able to forge that. This new scheme: instead of a signature, you solve a hash puzzle. Find a public key that, when hashed, randomly produces bytes that happen to look like a valid signature. 1-in-70-trillion odds, so you need GPUs to grind through candidates. Big caveat: It costs ~$150 in GPU compute per transaction and you need to submit the transaction directly to miners. Not practical, but If quantum timelines compress faster than Bitcoin's upgrade process, this can be the emergency escape hatch.
