Just submitted my complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority about this poster ad at tube stations. Why is there so little consideration of the impact of such images on children? (And one might add, on bereaved parents).

Patients are being seen sooner. Labour has delivered 5.2 million extra appointments, with waiting lists down by 370,000. We are getting the NHS back on its feet.

Megalithic Mysteries
Megalithic Mysteries@Megalithic12000·
Here's what fascinates me about the legend of Hy-Brasil, the phantom island that appeared on European maps for over 600 years... Irish folklore tells of an island that appears west of Ireland once every seven years, shrouded in mist and magic. Cartographers placed it on maps from 1325 to 1865, despite no confirmed sightings. Modern research shows this legend roughly corresponds to Porcupine Bank, an underwater plateau 200 kilometres west of Ireland. 🔹 Appeared on European maps for over 600 years 🔹 Roughly corresponds to Porcupine Bank location 🔹 Bank rises to 135 metres below current sea level 🔹 Sea levels were 140 metres lower during ice age 🔹 Shallow-water shells found on the bank During the last ice age, sea levels were 140 metres lower than today. Porcupine Bank would have been above water, a substantial island visible from the Irish coast. Why did this particular legend anchor itself for centuries in roughly the same location where geological evidence confirms land once existed above the waves?
