Riftbound has released a banned list, and we're only on set 2. My question is, was purple unintentionally made to be the strongest?

@stevewisey It was a trend in ~'16-20? Sort of resurfaced a bit in pandemic. Problem is lack of publisher support compared to other esports ecosystems, and less interest comparatively.
(Would love it to happen more though)

🚨 Big update 🚨🚨
I’m stepping into the CEO role at @Clix Gaming, a creator-led gaming and media company.
This move reflects a shift that’s been obvious for a while which I’ve been very vocal about. The biggest creators aren’t just making content anymore; they’re running businesses. But many are still set up like solo operators, with scattered teams, platform-dependent revenue, and very little structure behind the scenes.
Clix is at the point where he was ready for that to change; and he’s more motivated than ever to be an innovator in the space.
At the center of all this is Clix, with a global audience of over 25M+ across Twitch, YouTube, and social — and aggregating 1,583,023,294 views in 2025 (yes, over 1.5B) — Around that, we’re building real infrastructure:
1. Clix Production — a content production team producing live stream, long form, and short form content at scale.
2. @ClixCreative — a game studio creating games and experiences in Fortnite (with Roblox close behind).
3. @DR3AMINClothing — a lifestyle apparel brand that turns Cody’s inspirational story and community into product
4. @XSET — a gaming lifestyle brand and connected media network rooted in competitive gaming and culture.
Clix Gaming brings those pieces together under one roof, so brands and partners aren’t just working with a solo-creator, but with a real company that can build, execute, and scale collective opportunities.
Welcome to 2026 where we are leaning heavier and heavier into a creator-first, community-driven way of building media and marketing strategies; where people engage because they WANT to, not because they’re being marketed to. In gaming, especially Fortnite, that model already works and we’ve got the case studies to back it up.
This just felt like the right time to commit fully to building something special.
And for partnerships, Clix remains represented by @vaynersports as his agency team continuing to lead commercial strategy and brand relationships! @ajv @Spiher @bzanger3
More to come — but in the meantime, would love to reintroduce myself to my network to showcase an chat how we might be able to work together. 👋😃
Hope to see some of you in San Fran for Super Bowl and LA for NBA All Star Weekend 🏈 🏀
Please reach out for my new email 🗣️

A bittersweet announcement to end the week…
After six years at @vaynersports , I’m closing an incredibly meaningful chapter of my career.
I joined VaynerSports at the start of 2020, when the agency was only football and we were introducing a new idea: building a division to represent esports athletes. @ajv took a real risk on me then, trusting me to help launch VS Gaming alongside our first client, Bugha. What started as a small, ambitious bet grew into something far bigger year over year.
Watching VaynerSports scale into one of the most respected agencies in sports and gaming has been a privilege to witness and be a part of building. Professionally, this chapter pushed me to grow in every way in my role as an agent and marketing leader. Personally, it shaped how I think about people, business, and responsibility.
It’s wild to look back… From Super Bowl commercials, Olympic campaigns, DreamHack & FNCS Globals, new product launches, national licensing deals, lots of “first of its kinds,” launching two Fortnite Icon Series, fully custom Fortnite map campaigns, the inaugural Esports World Cup, and fostering hundreds of thousands of dollars in charitable giving while helping grant wishes through Make-A-Wish, these six years have been the most fulfilling and fun of my life and career.
I’m so deeply grateful to the colleagues I worked alongside. It’s been incredible to grow together and even as a fully remote worker, building long term relationships with you guys in the digital age always felt natural.
A special thank you to Zachary Rubin — just an all star boss and mentor who pushed me to think bigger and build with intention. I’ll miss working with many people here, but especially under Zach’s leadership.
And over the years, I’ve often been asked about the culture at “Vayner.” And for those of you who know, my niece was diagnosed with leukemia 1.5 years ago, and AJ and Zach were among the first people I told. The support and trust they showed, especially in allowing me to move my life to Scottsdale for my family without hesitation, is the greatest example I can offer of what this company and brand stands for.
And to the clients who trusted me with their careers — @Clix , @Mongraal , @brycent , @Nixstahh , and @bugha — thank you. Working with creators who trusted me to help build and scale their careers and businesses is the reason I loved this work. In an industry often focused on short-term “extraction”, my goal was always to think long-term, build with purpose, and prioritize who you are over quick checks.
I’m proud of what we built, but even more proud of how we built it. I believe there’s a right way to do business in this industry, and I’ve done my best to operate that way every step of this journey. The division is stronger than ever moving forwards.
I’ll share more soon on what’s next (I’m not going far). But for now, thank you to the people, the clients, and the place that shaped this phenomenal chapter of my life and career. 🫡💙🆚
