@NilesSankey I have to say this here if that's ok. I think it's stupid of people to criticize a game that they don't want to play or that have never played before. What's the point of doing that? There's so many games that I have never played, I'm not going to verbally crap on those.

@Grummz To be honest I think that he's 100% spot on about this. There's many games that I haven't played and that I will not play because they aren't appealing to me. Not every single game out there is made for me, I don't have to go on the internet to let the world know, nobody cares.

Ashes of Creation is under a class action lawsuit. I made a free game and decided to stop working on it, people with the game are still playing. Why does @KiraOnTV characterize a free game as a 'scam', but AoC as 'drama and an unhappy community'? Is it personal? He came into my Discord and argued with people yesterday.

@DreadmystOnline Some people simply don't understand why development was halted all of a sudden. Dreadmyst has huge potential for sure, people just wish that such potential would keep going. The game is free indeed but don't use that as excuse, people play it becuase they enjoy it.

...and I'm not really sure why certain people deliberately reframed "stepping away from development" as "shutting it down" when there people are and still are playing this free game right now.

The game has been back for three days. He admitted he knew. He won't change it. - His footage shows Aion assets from weeks ago. They've been replaced. His viewers don't know that. - He credits OpenGameArt sprites to games they don't belong to. They were made by Clint Bellanger for anyone to use freely. - He likes comments calling my work made by chatgpt and calls me shady throughout. That's not journalism. Every factual claim is either false or outdated. And he knows it.

Dreadmyst MMO is effectively shutting down! - Made by a solo dev - Used assets from Aion & other games (since removed) - Dev had WoW private server background - Getting pulled from Steam again as dev "steps away" A confusing project in a lot of ways, but it's always sad to see any MMO die.
