Liberal taxes on gas are the reason prices are so much higher in Canada than in the U.S. Today, Carney Liberals offered a fraction of that back to overtaxed motorists, leaving almost two-thirds of federal gas taxes in place for two-thirds of this year. Mark Carney is just another Liberal. More taxes. More costs. More of the same.

After repeated grand promises from Mark Carney’s Liberals, Canadians are still left paying more and getting less. It doesn’t have to be this way. Conservatives will not stop fighting for all Canadians, for a strong economy, for safe streets, for an affordable life, and to make sure Canada fulfills this promise to its people that so many hope and believe in.

If inflation is caused by printing money and inflating the amount of dollars in circulation, cutting the taxes that removes those dollars from circulation does not help the inflation caused by printing those dollars in the first place.

Liberal Mark Carney's fuel tax illusion simply doesn't add up. His government is still collecting billions in windfall taxes, and only offering 1/3 of the relief Canadians were demanding for 1/3 of the year. Not good enough!

Just because someone has letters after their name doesn't mean they have a real world understanding of the challenges facing Canadians... esspecially after more than a decade of his parties policies setting the economic agenda. And objectively it appears that Mr. Carney is really bad at negotiating the "win" in Canada/US relations he promised in the last election, the one where he didn't win a majority.

While the Carney Liberals sought a costly majority achieved through backroom deals, their other Liberal MPs were blocking our efforts to get to the bottom of the Finance Minister’s conflicts on the Alto Rail boondoggle. Kudos to our Conservative MPs at the ethics committee who will continue to hold conflicted Liberals to account.

Donald Trump drives up the prices of gas around the world. Spending billions and billions on war. Mark Carney reduces the federal tax on gas to help save money for Canadians. Tell me again about this whole "fiscally responsible" conservative thing. Tell me again about how all Liberals do is raise taxes, and Conservatives cut them.
