Liberal taxes on gas are the reason prices are so much higher in Canada than in the U.S.
Today, Carney Liberals offered a fraction of that back to overtaxed motorists, leaving almost two-thirds of federal gas taxes in place for two-thirds of this year.
Mark Carney is just another Liberal.

Pierre Poilievre has been calling on the federal government to remove all taxes on gas at the pump to help drivers save money from the skyrocketing price of gas. The PM has announced that next week the government is set to temporarily suspend the federal fuel excise tax on gas and diesel temporarily. This will be 10c a liter, 4c a liter on diesel and runs until Sept. This was a positive measure to help Canadians that was put forward by the Opposition and as usual Carney took another of their ideas to use.

This is what we call a major misstep in politics. Poilievre will never recover. Conservatives are why we can’t have nice things. Any forward momentum that benefits constituents is met with defiance by the CPC.
