The thinking or the assumption dat every pump attendant scams is flawed. I was once a pump attendant too, the mistake is common, he didn't hear your mom well but the colleague did and called his attention

At the filling station we went to today, there were two attendants. My mum said he should sell 50k fuel. He sold 15k, then the other attendant with him said, “She said 50, not 15.” He replied, “Oh sorry, sorry,” and put in 35k.
My mum feels there is a scam they do with that first 15k they sell, because the same thing happened the last time she bought fuel there, and it’s the same attendants.
What do y’all think?

Fuel is so expensive, yet those attendants at the filling stations are still trying to steal from us. Omo, this country ehn. 😭

Once you've dispensed fuel and put back the nozzle, it will automatically start afresh from zero when you remove it again

@EhisOjeks Most don't even clear the meter number before selling to you they just continue from where they stopped while selling for the previous person

@EhisOjeks The scam is simple, they don't reset the counter.
So they will dispense 15k, someone will distract you, so they don't zero the stuff, so they continue from 15k.until they reach 35.
