Delighted to have staff from global insurance company @Chubb Glasgow office along this week to help with shopping and deliveries to our @FoodTrainScot members in Renfrewshire.

@TRobinsonMiles When out delivering the other day I thought we must have left a box in the van - but no - that *was* how little £35 had bought for our member.

I promise to keep having these conversations & trying my upmost to create change at a systemic level. We know what works but we need to see £ invested & put in ppl's pockets too! Scotland is not a good food nation for everyone right now, we've got lots of work to be doing! ☹️

Today we said "Adieu" to all the @MorganStanley employees who have been helping @FoodTrainScot as part of the MS Global Volunteering Month. Every one of them says they enjoyed their time volunteering with Food Train and we look forward to seeing them again next year.

THEN vs NOW We're reflecting back on 27 years and how far we've come. Take a look at our very first shopping receipt from 29th June 1995 for just 5 customers! Now we do almost 5000 deliveries a month for 2577 older people and it grows every year. #HappyBirthdayFoodTrain

Well the @FoodTrainScot Renfrewshire Branch Christmas Lunch (2020) finally happened - during #VolunteersWeekScot 2022. A well deserved treat for our amazing volunteers.

It was good to meet up with @NatalieDon_ today and tell her about some of the exciting developments happening here @FoodTrainScot in Renfrewshire.

A huge *THANKS* to Janene and the team at the @Beaverbrooks Braehead Store for their amazing donation of £600 to the @FoodTrainScot Renfrewshire branch today. Was great to finally get to meet them all and hear about the role they play in supporting local community groups.

It's great to see our volunteers at @FoodTrainScot in Renfrewshire moving on to employment, BUT it means we currently have vacancies in our rota for volunteer DRIVERS and volunteer SHOPPERS. If you are interested please get in touch - #volunteer #volunteeringopportunity
