While the family slept across the sofas, a baby slowly rolled toward the edge. A golden retriever on the floor noticed the subtle movement. Before anything happened, he calmly got up, grabbed a pillow, and placed it right below the couch. Moments later, the baby slipped-landing safely on the pillow. No one woke up. Only the dog knew what he had just prevented.

@jaybsauceda @UTAustin So proud of you its never too late! I went back at 37. I also stopped in 2006 because of a nervous breakdown. Now I'm working into getting funding for grad school.

At 41, I'm back at @UTAustin completing the degree I failed to finish back in 2007. For those following along, I got two A's this semester in US National Security and Intro To Media Studies. It was a weird experience writing about the media for a required intro class while I work at @TexasMonthly and host a television show. Hilariously, last semester I got a B in Foundations of Business Finance. Which given the scale and complexity of the business I built and sold, you'd find funny too. I only needed about 9 hours when I flunked out back then, but after nearly 20 years of course catalog changes, that number grew to over 30 hours needed to finish. I've got 3 more classes to go and I'll be done. I'm likely going to drag it out until Spring 2027 to make it a round 20 years.

Still not over Florence and the Machine! I wasn't able to catch her saying saying Miami! Maybe next time! Lol The quality is terrible you can tell I dont record much! 🤣

My mood changed she's such an awesome performer I'm so glad I went. After 3 years out of the shelter I finally went to a concert I remember I wanted to go to another concert when I got out but didn't get out of the shelter in time. Better late than sorry right?
