@BlindBearMedia I feel like this is one of those fights where a power puncher gets out skilled. Kape is extremely good but I just think that the way that horiguchi can come in and out with so many different entries gets him the dec or late sub

@NXTXZXW @woza_diego @MikeCoppinger @Turki_alalshikh You should tell that to Saudi. They still act like it's 1923

Women’s boxing is growing worldwide and across the Middle East: the Saudi Boxing Federation (@Turki_alalshikh is the president) just kicked off its amateur Women’s Open Championship with 150 fighters from 16 clubs.

@jhall214 @MikeCoppinger @ringmagazine You clearly haven't been keeping up to date with how broke he is
English

@MikeCoppinger @ringmagazine All good he’ll post a video on his social media pages of him with 7.25 million in cash to make a mockery of this.
English

Floyd Mayweather’s planned exhibitions vs. Mike Zambidis and Mike Tyson are in jeopardy after the IRS notified him of its intention to have his U.S. passport revoked due to a seriously delinquent tax debt upward of $7.25 million, according to documents reviewed by @ringmagazine.

All the respect for Oscar as a fighter, he had a legendary career and fought everyone as the face of boxing. But to call Nick Khan a liar and say he’s never been involved in boxing? Nick managed Manny Pacquiao and James Toney and was the architect of Top Rank’s landmark 7-year, $630 Million deal with ESPN.

@W3bByte @dom_lucre Sexual harassment against anyone isn't reported it's not just men
English

@dom_lucre Taking a look at the comments tells you the reason sexual harassment against men is not reported.
First they make fun of it, and they discredit the story.
So much double standard.

Additional alleged remarks:
"You really think management wants some Indian boy leading organizations?"
“If you don’t have sex with me tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.”
“I bet your little Asian fish-head wife doesn’t have these cannons.”
If these allegations are true they should be met with the same scrutiny as if the roles were reversed.

@s_a_money @nickatkinone Rodtang has turned into a clown since he started making big money
English

@nickatkinone Chatri thought money got to his head? 😉 It sounded like he was being a bit of an asshole to Rodtang.
English

🆕 Rodtang Jitmuangnon left Ariake Arena in tears. Chatri Sityodtong left him with a challenge.
The day after the most damaging defeat of Rodtang’s ONE Championship career, the question is no longer simply where he fights next – it is whether “The Iron Man” can become “The Iron Man” again.
Rodtang was stopped for the first time in 13 years on Wednesday night, with Takeru dropping him four times before referee Olivier Coste waved off their ONE Samurai 1 main event in the fifth round.
It was a stunning reversal from their first meeting at ONE 172 last year, when Rodtang knocked out Takeru in 80 seconds.
This time, Takeru took Rodtang’s best shots, smiled, dropped his hands and turned the Thai superstar’s own trademark act against him.
ONE's CEO did not name Rodtang at first during the post-event press conference, but he hardly needed to.
“I think we saw what happens when you make a lot of money and fame gets to your head and you don’t have a team around you,” Chatri said.
Later, asked directly by the Bangkok Post about Rodtang, Chatri said he was “very sad” for the Thai superstar – but urged him to rediscover his hunger.
“If he recommits himself to training and learning and growing, and if he’s hungry again, he can be on top of the world,” Chatri said.
“Like all of us, when we are too comfortable, it can lead to our downfall.”
Rodtang’s contract dispute, limited preparation and questions over his future now all look very different after a brutal defeat that cracked one of ONE Championship’s biggest auras.
The comeback is still possible.
But for the first time in years, Rodtang’s biggest fight may not be against Takeru, Superlek, Jonathan Haggerty or ONE’s lawyers.
It may be against himself.

@CombatCr @MuayThaiJME It wasn't insane at all after we saw Takeru had 2 broken ribs going into that fight.
English

@MuayThaiJME Wiping out Takeru inside of a round has only appreciated in value though! That was insane given Rodtang can’t punch and Takeru has historically been made of iron (even though clearly slipping a bit by that stage after getting dropped by a Burmese randomner lol)

Carlos Silva addresses pulling TNA talent from matches with AEW talent, says he has to protect TNA:
“It was super tough, and look, all these business decisions are tough. I don’t like being called a little b*tch on social any more than anyone does. But it’s okay, you do take the goods with the bads, and you gotta make some hard decisions. My job sometimes is to make hard decisions. And for the fans and for all of you, our locker room, we’re gonna make decisions that are good for TNA. And we gotta protect TNA. As Kevin Plank and Under Armour used to say, you gotta protect this house, and it’s a real slogan.
We’ve had some other folks come at us and they’ve moved into our nights, they’ve made some decisions, they’ve tried to block us in arenas and venues. That stuff’s real and it’s out there, and it’s okay because everyone’s gotta make the decisions for their business, but we’re also just not gonna lie down and not make decisions that are good for our business. And unfortunately sometimes, those decisions are tough.
We’re very thoughtful about them, and we try to do the best to make good when we have to make those decisions. And in the case of Nic and Leon and a few of the matches that had to get shut down, we tried to make good and make calls and take care of the business as best as we could.
It was my decision. I take full ownership. I’ve got a great team and we talk about these things together, but sometimes, I’m the guy that has to make that decision and then you move on. You go to work the next day and you work hard again and get stuff done.”

@TelegraphDucker You're very delusional if you think any Premier League team has a working class demographic. I suggest you actually go watch some football in literally any other nation and you'll see what working class fans look like.
English

It’s not embarrassing. They’ve been to Wembley something like 33 times since Guardiola took over. Their fan base is predominantly a working class Manchester demographic. They don’t have endless pots of gold in their bank accounts. The issue is semi finals being played at Wembley
South Stand Pies@SouthStandPies
The most successful team in England in the last ten years and there were 10,000 empty Man City seats at Wembley. And that’s after they gave some to Southampton! Embarrassing. #MNCSOT

@henrywinter @BroadstockLee @citymattersreps @WeAre1894 "Kudos"
Have some fucking shame you bellende

Kudos to Manchester City for freezing ticket prices following consultations with fans. Shows the importance of engaging with fans’ networks like City Matters. Kudos to @BroadstockLee @citymattersreps @WeAre1894. City have listened to fans which not enough clubs do. City are a wealthy club, it’s good PR, but it’s also the right thing to do.
Fans bring the noise, the atmosphere, the mood boosts for players. Fans bring the backdrop that TV pays billions for. Clubs should show respect to fans and be measured in ticketing policies, especially given economic pressures on fans. City say they have “taken the approach in recognition of the extraordinary accumulated impact of the current cost of living pressures on fans and their families”.
Still issues like those loyal fans being moved to accommodate corporates (club currently emailing fans of details). But, overall, City deserve praise. The introduction of 4,000 “Flexi-Season Tickets”, with 50% ringfenced for juniors, should definitely be welcomed. They are the future.
Simplifying the ticket transfer policy makes sense and is fairer. “Fans will be able to list up to 18 friends and family, regardless of membership status, and can do this at any point throughout the season if they are unable to attend a match”. Makes it easier to hit the 10 mandatory games.
Fans’ group 1894 “welcomes today's announcement from the club which is in direct contrast to other clubs in the Premier League who have been raising their match ticket and season ticket prices. It is undoubtedly a win for the fans and a vindication for the benefits of collective action across the fan base”. Main points of City announcement below... 👇 #MCFC
