@AndyMitten Likewise Andy, my hero growing up. Met Steve at a golf event a few years ago, absolute gentleman. He was so embarrassed when I told him he was my hero.

Ages 10, I idolised Steve Coppell. Once asked Carol Round The Corner (mum’s mate who cut our hair) that I wanted my hair like Steve Coppell. He played 207 consecutive MU games, still a record. And I never met him. Couldn’t track him down for my books. Met almost all his teammates. Until now.
