@KevinMcCurdy Been a big advocate for 3-2-1 for a long time. I'm not mad about this year really because I think it will stack the pressure on the NHL to move to it.

There's very few things that Dad really hated in life.
He *HATED* the loser point. Capslock, underline, bold, italics size 72 HATED. It's illogical, and nothing will piss a numbers guy off (particularly a former banker that audited finances for a large bank) than numbers that appear out of thin air.
The leagues argument that it would affect comparison to previous results didn't pass the smell test and it still doesn't. It should have been 3-2-1, he knew it and deep down the league knows it (see: 4NFO). They should just Mea culpa and fix this once and for all.
He hated the loser point, I hate the loser point, and you should too.

Edmonton has been one of the highest scoring EV teams for a long time now. The days of the 2021 Oilers are long gone.

Edm did not have this issue. They have never had this issue. The only issue was them facing elite goaltending and not getting close to that themselves.

overreliance on the power play in the regular season is a house of cards once the postseason hits if you can't close out a team in 4-5 games bc refs start swallowing the whistle the longer a series goes (same issue EDM is facing now)

@mathewjdp Lewandowski was in tough. PA is the best defensive team in the WHL, they shut guys down hard.

I'll say this about Ingram & Edmonton's current golatending situation. When it comes to getting a breakaway stop in a bug spot , I'm iffy at best. Outside of that, I'm as confident in this guy as I've been with any Oilers goalie since Roloson.
