@mattvanswol Fraud will never be zero, typical is 3-5%, on a $7T budget that's $200-350B so the fact suddenly that concerns you is hilarious the fact you can't contextualize it frankly a little sad 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just finished my taxes and wrote a check to the federal government. It doesn't sit right... We've seen BILLIONS in fraud in just the last few months. Don't you feel like we ALL deserve a break from paying taxes until 100% of the money stolen from us in fraud is clawed back?

@shaguncrypto You're not. Why buy a house if avg rent is $800 below the median mortgage. Why buy a new car when avg used car is $22k, lower cost to maintain minimal drop in reliability, invest the difference and grow your way out of it. Don't do the illogical thing because it's expected.

@RockChartrand Keeps 20 million/yr out of poverty, decent return 🤔. Is it the best use of money, no but for the vast majority it's a better use than what they'd do with it, if you compare it to the best possible outcome yeah looks bad compare to the most likely alternative, pretty good

Everyone should be able to opt out of Social Security. It’s a mandatory program with limited returns, no real accountability, and long term sustainability problems. You’re forced to pay in, regardless of whether it’s a good use of your money. And for many people, it isn’t. They’d be better off investing those same dollars into assets that actually grow, rather than into a system that depends on future taxpayers to stay afloat. If it were truly valuable, it wouldn’t need to be mandatory.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos shouldn't be paying the same amount in Social Security tax as someone making $175,000 a year. Billionaires are not paying their fair share.

On top of everything else, the IRS says the wife & I will owe an additional ~$10k. Our crime? Being productive, working hard, and succeeding in this “society.” Should I refuse to pay, eventually men with guns will show up to seize my home, perhaps my liberty, and should I defend myself in equal measure, they'll unalive me, with zero consequences for them. This is far from civilized. It’s barbaric. It should neither be defended nor expected to deliver positive outcomes.

@JoeLang51440671 SS is effectively self-funded not part of the general budget so, no, it wasn't funding NGOs, which isn't necessarily bad anyway 🙄, it does keep 20M+ people out of poverty a year, imagine if it was a bigger scam we'd end poverty and homelessness

Social Security was always a SCAM. The government has been stealing the American people’s money and spending every dime on their favorite NGO and a myriad of other ways to pocket taxpayers money. People like Rand Paul are fighting to preserve the SCAM and want the American people to work till their 70, so they can fund the current retiree’s, who aren’t getting half the money they should have. End the SCAM!

Minnesota would be losing population without international immigration, driven by a mass exodus to Republican-led states. That’s how badly this state is being run. And it’s exactly why they lost their minds when we started enforcing immigration laws.
Zachary Donnini@ZacharyDonnini

One key political ramification of collapsing international net migration: fewer people moving to blue states and cities. With 2030 reapportionment already expected to cost Democrats house seats and electoral votes, this pattern could deepen those losses.

@RobinNunya14 @POTUS Well no default is if the system isn't sure the person provisionally votes and various checks and audits are supposed to validate that's correct, kick that vote out if it's not, SAVE Act defaults to you lose your right to vote if you can't positively prove citizenship

I think I understand your point. My response based on text of the Save America Act, Codified OBBBA HR 1 , @POTUS EO & existing laws: 🚨Human intervention will ALWAYS exist because data isn't perfect (people get married, move, or have typos in their files). The solution isn't about eliminating human intervention; it’s about changing what that human is doing & what data they are forced to use. 🚨IMPORTANT to know: The SAVE Act’s solution is to flip the default setting: ▫️Old System Default: If the computer isn't sure, the person VOTES. (Human error = Illegal votes). ▫️SAVE Act Default: If the computer isn't sure, the person PROVES IT. (Human error = Administrative delay, but NO illegal votes). 🚨VERY IMPORTANT to understand: By forcing the verification, the law ensures that the "human intervention" is used to protect the ballot rather than to look the other way. It turns the human clerk into the final goalie who is legally required to block anyone who hasn't been 100% verified by the OBBBA linked databases. 👉🏻The solution isn't about eliminating human intervention; it’s about changing what that human is doing & what data they are forced to use. 💥Under the old system (NVRA/HAVA), human intervention was optional & reactive. 💥Under the SAVE Actand the OBBBA (H.R. 1), human intervention becomes mandatory & data driven. 🚨You may be asking what’s the "solution" to ensuring only citizens vote is a Three Pillar Security Architecture: 1. Front End: From "Honor System" to "Document First" The biggest flaw in the current system (without Save America Act provisions) is that a human clerk IS legally barred from asking for proof if you use the federal form. ▫️The Fix: The SAVE America Act forces the "intervention" to happen at the very beginning. Instead of a clerk just accepting a signature, they are required to scan a physical document (Passport, Birth Cert). ▫️ Human Role: The human is no longer a "data entry clerk"; they are a document verifier. 2. Middle End: Automated "Deep Check" Verification The codified OBBBA (H.R. 1) included provisions that allow various databases to tied together, so the human doesn't have to "guess" if a document is real. ▫️ The Fix: When that birth certificate is scanned, the system automatically pings the Social Security Administration, DHS (SAVE) & Treasury records simultaneously. ▫️ Human Role: The human only gets involved if the computer returns a "No Match." 🚨IMPORTANT to know: Instead of the old way (where a "No Match" just meant the person was registered anyway), the SAVE Act FORCES the clerk to "freeze" the registration until the human error (like a name change or typo) is manually resolved. 3. Back End: The "Master Citizenship List" Audit The final piece of the solution is the March 31, 2026 Executive Order, which created a single "Source of Truth." ▫️ The Fix: The federal government now maintains a Master Citizenship List. Every month, states are required to run their entire voter roll against this list. ▫️ Human Role: If a name appears on the voter roll but NOT on the Master Citizenship List, the law forces the election official to send a notice and start the removal process. 👀They no longer have the "discretion" to ignore it.👀

The SAVE America Act (House amended S. 1383, passed by the House 2/11/2026, being “debated” in Senate) does NOT change any state residency rules for voter registration. 👀Your point about state residency is a non-issue - the bill doesn’t touch it.👀 💥IMPORTANT: If you are currently registered to vote (citizen or not), you are NOT impacted by this bill. 💥IMPORTANT: You will not have to re-register, prove citizenship again, or do anything new to keep voting. 👀Exact quote from the bill (Section 8): “This Act … shall apply with respect to applications for voter registration which are submitted on or after such date.” That means the new citizenship proof requirement applies only to new registration applications submitted AFTER the bill becomes law. 💥IMPORTANT: If you’re already registered before the bill passes, you stay registered after it passes - no additional documentation is required. 👉🏻This bill has mechanisms to remove non-citizens from voter rolls: ▫️States must remove non-citizens “at any time upon receipt of documentation or verified information that a registrant is not a United States citizen.” (See Section 2 of the bill) ▫️States are required to submit voter lists to the DHS SAVE system on a regular basis and take steps to remove non-citizens after verification and notice. 💥IMPORTANT: The SAVE America Act prevents NEW non-citizens from registering to vote. It closes the loophole in the 2005 REAL ID Act by requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship for every new federal voter registration application. 👀Exact quote (See Section 2): “the State shall not accept and process an application to register to vote in an election for Federal office unless the applicant presents documentary proof of United States citizenship with the application.” 💥In a nutshell: 👉🏻Already registered? You’re safe - no new requirements. 👉🏻Not registered yet? You’ll need citizenship proof to register after the bill passes. 👉🏻Non-citizens on rolls now? States must remove them when they get verified evidence (no automatic nationwide purge, but mandatory action when info comes in). 🚨This is a registration security fix. It doesn’t force re-registration or add polling-place checks. The bill text is crystal clear on this.🚨 Sources : ▫️Full bill text (S. 1383 House-amended): https://www.congress. gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/1383/text ▫️Congress. gov bill summary and actions (current as of March 2026): https://www.congress. gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/1383

@RobinNunya14 How long out did you have to schedule? Now imagine you move/get married in October and have to get all your stuff together in time for a new ID to vote 1st week of Nov. Some level of people will fail, question is will more people lose the right to vote the fraud prevented.

While every state has its own messy way of doing things, the legal mandate for them to keep their rolls accurate is ALREADY set in stone. 👉🏻The Law Already Says They Must ▫️ The Fact: Two major federal laws - the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) - already command states to keep their voter lists "accurate" AND "updated regularly." You can't have an "accurate" list if it's full of non citizens who aren't legally allowed to be there. Just because some states have been lazy or used an "honor system" doesn't mean the legal requirement doesn't exist. If a non citizen is on the roll, that state is technically in breach of federal law. 👉🏻Checking a Box is a "Legal Oath," Not a Suggestion ▫️ The Fact: Current federal forms require a person to attest under penalty of perjury that they are a citizen. You are confusing the method with the responsibility. Using a "check-the-box" system is just a weak way of verifying, but the state is still 100% responsible for the result. 🚨Saying "we didn't know they lied" isn't a legal excuse for keeping ineligible people on the rolls. 👉🏻The "No Single Source of Truth" Excuse is Dead ▫️ The Update: As of the March 31, 2026 Executive Order, the federal government is now officially providing states with a "single source of truth." @POTUS ordered the Department of Homeland Security & the Social Security Administration to give every state a confirmed list of U.S. citizens. States can no longer cry about "not having the data." The feds are handing them the list. If a state official refuses to use that data to clean their rolls, they are now intentionally ignoring a federal directive. 👉🏻Why We Still Need the SAVE Act The SAVE Act doesn't create a "new" responsibility; it just fixes the broken process that currently exists. ▫️ The Fix: Right now, the NVRA makes it hard for states to ask for a birth certificate on the federal form. The SAVE Act kicks that door down and mandates a uniform federal standard of "show me your papers" before you get on the list. "Claiming states aren't “required” to ensure only citizens vote is like saying a bank isn't 'required' to make sure the money stays in the vault. 52 U.S.C. 21083 says they must keep the lists accurate. The fact that they’ve been relying on a pinky promise “check-the-box” system doesn't mean the requirement isn't there - it means they’ve been failing at their job. With the March 31, 2026 Executive Order, the feds are now giving them the exact list of who is and isn't a citizen. If a state official still refuses to purge non citizens, they aren't just “doing it differently” they are breaking the law. The SAVE America Act just makes sure no future administration can stop this verification ever again. ▫️NVRA (National Voter Registration Act): https://www.justice. gov/crt/national-voter-registration-act-1993-nvra ▫️HAVA (Help America Vote Act): https://www.govinfo. gov/content/pkg/PLAW-107publ252/pdf/PLAW-107publ252.pdf
