@AkairconKent @WeAreOpenreach It would be interesting to know more soecific information about this. The bracket is clearly old as are the screws that have been used. Why would an engineer remove an old brela ket from the wall and use the same bracket and old screws to reinstall it to a facia board

@lrichardson_2 @WeAreOpenreach Openreach do not control traffic lights. If the traffic lights are in use for an Openreach job then a third party company will manage the lights. They should have their company details clearly displayed so they can be contacted

@RobW1976 @WeAreOpenreach @Plusnet Many poles will remain unclimable for their life span and a hoist will always be required. This is just an unfortunate hurdle and means you will wait slightly longer for the job to be completed

@WeAreOpenreach @Plusnet The time frame as far as I was told was 7 days and that was 8 days ago! My provider is understanding but they can’t do ‘owt about a pole. I can’t phone OpenReach to find out anymore as you don’t accept phone calls. I just need to know when it will be done.

@WeAreOpenreach can anyone update on whether a pole has been safety tested or not. The engineer can’t climb it until someone does and we are stuck with a fault on our broadband. @Plusnet are aware but we are stuck waiting for a safety certificate. Been waiting over a week.

@RobW1976 @WeAreOpenreach @Plusnet A pole came be unclimable for a multitude of reasons. If a pole requires a new date test label a specialist engineer will attend to carry this out, they do not use a machine. You should not have been given the "7 day" time frame as it is impossible to know when the they will come

@Mercury1712 Looking at the images in the article the poles do not block any vehicle access as the headline suggests. A pre pole notice is clearly visible. Openreach/other telcom infrastructure companies will not notify individuals as this would be extremely long winded and costly
