Won a Land, Go Black Lotus Invitational Series tournament today! I decided to try out Rog/Ishai, thanks to @SnackAdler277 and @JaseSanders12 for the inspiration at the midseason invitational--especially after Zach hard sold the deck over dinner, I had to give it a try. It was my first time playing the deck, but it felt great. Started the day with 0-2-0, but treated those as practice rounds to get familiar with the deck, and did better afterwards! If you enjoy midrange games and giant stack battles, I think this is a good deck for you. I personally do not like Emrakul (and the dynamic it creates) and don't plan on including it in my list, but have observed it being a menace in other games. Looking forward to keep playing the deck some more! My prize was the City of Traitors, and my main deck (blue farm) is now at only 10 proxies 😅.

@ThePfef Im shocked I've never seen a deck check at all there in the year I've been playing there that sucks they got dq'd i feel like there's a lot of ppl that play there with more than 10 proxies but at the same time I feel like if you are gonna allow any proxies you should allow 100

Super disappointed to see what happened at the Mulligans tournament yesterday. They DQ'ed a player going into top4 because he had 11 proxies vs the 10 limit. Player offered to buy a replacement card on the spot. They booted him anyway and made finals a 3 pod.

Absolutely absurd, if he had the wrong card in his deck it would have been a turn skip. Instead he's denied prizing and the opportunity to play. There's enough TOs and tournaments these days that we can be choosy. I won't be choosing this TO.
