@ThePfef Lol hey that's the hook tho isn't it? 🤣
English

Reason #6 why I would quit if I did is the cringe rhetoric from all sides of edh vs. competitive. Dude, no one cares. About your opinion or mine. STFU and play. Y'all don't act this smug when I sit down across from you. This is just the online community and it's so boring.

Man, the cEDH haters are out in FORCE the last few days. Things must be real bad in the 60 card space? They hate us because they ain't us.

@ThePfef @engineer590 What he said may have been exaggerated. But its not inaccurate at its core. The yappening is a real thing. And cedh players know it.
English

@engineer590 Tell me you don't know anything about cEDH without saying you don't know anything about cEDH.
English

@ThePfef The biggest difference is how mtg is played 60 vs CEDH. The stack is the stack in 60 card. In CEDH the spell resolves when the politics end. I can sit a Bo3 match say less than 100 words to my opponent. CEDH is 5 hours. Lock in. Bring a bottle to piss in.

@thisisthacahtah Trust me you care if your opponent has 2 Rhystic Studies.
English

@ThePfef You’re probably right but I’ve found that the slop decks thrive on other slop decks to copy their stuff. Having a deck at the table that doesn’t care or enable rhystic clones feels awesome
English

@thisisthacahtah These are games where it doesn't matter what deck you play or how skillful you play it. Sometimes they just have it and there's just nothing you can do. It feels terrible. But changing decks ain't gonna fix it.
English

@ThePfef Honestly just playing a deck that wins as soon as possible has felt great in the meta right now. I was on Rog/Shai since the mid invi and switched to Rog/Si like 2 weeks ago and somehow it’s still cracked in half.
English

@ThePfef In a known field of drawers, its strategically correct to gtfo of that bracket
Wait til you hear about seat 4 wins in the finals behind 2 turbo decks and a blue farm 🤔
English

@Roaringliger1 @jordanwhatley76 Like I said, do it. I'll get AI to do a big "I told you so" video or something when it sucks.
English

@ThePfef @jordanwhatley76 Id hardly call 2 events "more than enough" when there has been at least double that proving otherwise. And even showing decline in draws going to time as well.
But sure thing bud.
English

@Roaringliger1 @jordanwhatley76 TBH I think if you hate games with high draw rates, ultimately cEDH isn't the right game for you.
English

@ThePfef @jordanwhatley76 Hypothetical.
Not enough data to conclude one way or another.
English

@Roaringliger1 @jordanwhatley76 No, I agree the draw rate is too high. I'm just not interested in replacing it with worse problems.
English

@ThePfef @jordanwhatley76 So you're supporting a 50+% draw rate as acceptable to not have change yet having complaints about it still occurring regularly?
That sounds like actual misery. And also Stockholm syndrom to a card game.
English

@Roaringliger1 @jordanwhatley76 I personally have zero interest in that misery, but I think it's important for people to try it from time to time so everyone can remember how much it SUCKS.
English

@ThePfef @jordanwhatley76 Okay. So lets create an actual sample size of it to see if it actually works or not and actually figure something out as a community instead of complaining about forced draws constantly and doing litetally nothing about it.
