@deltagame33 This looks like the least confusing game to have an unlocked camera pitch because of how obvious it is which direction you’re moving.

@yvonnalynn What if you had played it off as “getting into character” and said to the VO director “the character’s name is Crash so I wanted to make sure I crash IRL from being out of breath”? At least nobody yelled out “HUMILIATION”, I hope.

So I had done a bit of VO work but not a ton and a friend of mine who was a game audio director, advised me before my session, “ok, Yvonna, just take a deep breath before talking” because he had worked with me before and I’d run out of air. Almost every thing I’ve done was without schooling in that arena so I said, “Ok!” I got to the gig & when I was in the booth… I took a deep breath in, slowly exhaled and began talking. LOLOLOLOL I EXHALED BEOFRE TALKING instead of talking after my inhale. I was thinking my friend was advising me to take a deep breath (in & out) because I’d sounded stressed or something/ not so I’d have enough breath for the lines. The VO director also a friend… helped make everything right but I felt egregiously stupid 😂

@LegitSmurfson Movement speeds are different between TF|2 and Apex so that makes sense. I’m not sure if the Wildcard mode still has the card that gives any Legend the ability to wallrun, but it’d be interesting to see how it feels while boosting off of the newest Legend’s tactical.

@The_______Cat Honestly Apex doesn’t even feel the same - I remember they brought it in through Shadow Royale at Halloween and it just didn’t feel fully right (most likely because of the air accel being different). Titanfall 1 and 2 just feel so great

Coming from someone who's supported Titanfall 2 for the past 9 (almost 10) years through it's thick and thin days, Titanfall 2 is a fantastic shooter to this day and the grind for G100 is great, but it can only hold you over for so long before it feels like you've played everything the game has to offer. I've always wanted a 3rd Titanfall solely so I could relive that feeling of the first few years of Titanfall 2's lifespan, and have something else to strive for. It's part of the reason I leaped on Apex and spent so much time in it - it was a fresh take on the franchise that (unfortunately) didn't evolve into a new Titanfall game, but at least held onto the lore of the 2 Titanfall games throughout it's initial years (and technically is still in the same universe, just not in the direction I was expecting). It's still a fantastic feeling BR game too and one I'd go back to if I'd need a BR to play. Titanfall 2 is a game I come back to time and time again, and always try to find ways to make it feel fresh again (right now these past 6 months through @EladNLG's roguelike mod which is INCREDIBLE), but at the end of the day it's an old game and not everyone is set to grind 3k+ hours in it. Right now it feels like the only thing I have to strive for is reaching G100 (at G92 at the moment) and at times it feels a bit repetitive. Empulse is a fantastic game based off of the playtests I've been apart of - it might not be in the Titanfall franchise per-say, but it's a fresh take on the movement arena shooter genre and one that will bring it's own community and lore to, just like with Splitgate. Playing Empulse won't have me stop playing Titanfall 2 by any means, and if you haven't played Titanfall 2 you absolutely should (fantastic campaign, solid multiplayer, great PvE mode Frontier's Defense, extremely moddable), but I also don't think it's unrealistic for people to not be playing Titanfall 2 and wanting something fresh in the genre, whether it be a spiritual successor (Shatterrush, Empulse, Diesel Knights) or a new game within the franchise. With that being said, imma go play Titanfall 2, AND I'm gonna be playing Empulse at EA launch :) #Titanfall2 #Titanfall

@The_______Cat Yes indeed! I’m Crash in it . I think in game it’s all OG voices but I got to do the tutorial. If you want a funny story about that recording, I’ll tell you. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever told that story before.

Had a dream last night after watching Backrooms a second time. Was in an infinitely expanding maze of arcade cabinets. Every one was playable, but the interfaces were gibberish and graphics were garbled. It's like they were all just vague, smeared facsimiles of arcade games.

I actually think I prefer the older color profile to the new one. I like the liminal vibe of Combat Evolved whether it was intentional on Bungie’s artists or not. I’m glad it at least looks nice though because GOOD LORD the 2011 Anniversary remaster was profoundly hideous.

@FriendWhoAsked @MGecko117 Giving the players who bought it exclusive skins should have been the bare minimum. But I feel like the blame has more to do with Nexon, given their history. Anyway, I wish I played it a lot more. Heard that a LAN version exists but it was only used for real world tournaments.

Then since it went F2P we couldn't even refund it, Cliffy B really fucked the players over
