A woman in this clip said something that really made me stop and think. She said most of us look for the Holy Spirit in the dramatic stuff — signs, wonders, goosebumps, tongues, or that powerful feeling. But she believes the real evidence is much quieter and more uncomfortable. The Holy Spirit doesn’t show up to impress us or make us look spiritual. He shows up to convict and correct. You know He’s at work when repentance stops being a rare public apology and becomes daily heart hygiene. When “Lord, search me” feels heavier than “Lord, use me.” When the real fruit shows up in the small, inconvenient places: love that stays when it could walk away, joy that survives bad news, peace that doesn’t need to control everything, patience that bites its tongue, and self-control that quietly shuts the door before sin even finishes knocking. The plot twist? The Spirit doesn’t give you power to sin more safely. He gives you the power to say “no” — not because you’re terrified of hell, but because you don’t want to lose intimacy with Him. It’s less about flashy spiritual performance and more about a heart that breaks fast and runs home faster. A thoughtful reminder that real spiritual growth is often quiet, slow, and deeply personal. Does this description of the Holy Spirit resonate with you, or do you see the evidence differently?

The pro war side can dismiss this all they want. Go ahead. All I can tell you is that I personally know multiple VERY conservative lifelong Republicans voters who are so furious and feel so betrayed that they’re planning to sit out the midterms. I don’t think that’s the right move and don’t encourage it. But this is something I’m hearing pretty often. People are pissed. Maybe that doesn’t show up on this site. Maybe it doesn’t show up yet in the polls. But it’s real. Go talk to people. Actual human people.

I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

“The biggest lie sold to our generation was that leaving your family made you free.” Tania Khazaal makes a sharp point: For decades, society pushed the idea that true success and empowerment meant leaving home at 18, becoming fully independent, and building life on your own. The result? One cohesive family unit often turned into five separate households — each paying its own rent, utilities, car payments, and often starting with heavy student debt. Everyone bearing costs alone. In contrast, multigenerational families that stay connected can share expenses, pool resources, launch businesses together, and actually build generational wealth. When the family unit fractures, each new generation resets to zero — financially, emotionally, and spiritually. The “village” disappears, leaving individuals to survive in isolation. A clear-eyed look at how cultural messaging around freedom quietly reshaped family structures and long-term economic outcomes. What resonates (or challenges) you most in this perspective — the hidden economic costs of breaking the family unit, the redefinition of real freedom, or the long-term impact on generational wealth and resilience?

🇺🇸 JUST IN: Georgia Supreme Court Confronts Prosecutor Over AI-Generated Citations to Nonexistent Cases in Murder Appeal The Georgia Supreme Court has confirmed a troubling development during oral arguments in the appeal of Hannah Payne’s murder conviction, exposing serious issues with legal filings submitted by the prosecution. During proceedings held around March 18, 2026, Chief Justice Nels S.D. Peterson directly challenged Deborah Leslie, an attorney representing the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office, over multiple inaccurate and fabricated legal citations included in court documents. According to statements made in court, the record contained: At least five citations to cases that do not exist At least five additional citations to real cases that did not support the legal arguments presented Three quotations attributed to cases that were completely nonexistent When questioned, Leslie indicated she had prepared an earlier version of the filing that was later revised. However, Chief Justice Peterson pointed out that several of the nonexistent citations appeared in her original submission opposing a motion for a new trial. Leslie responded that she was not aware of the inaccuracies at the time and offered to review and supplement the record.

Yes, the statement is partially true—but it’s overstated and oversimplified for social‑media style sharing. Here’s what the actual data show: What the trial actually found A recent randomized, phase‑II trial in metastatic (Stage IV) pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tested adding 75 g of intravenous (IV) vitamin C, three times per week, to standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine + nab‑paclitaxel).[emjreviews +2] Key results reported: •Median overall survival: ~8 months with chemo alone vs ~16 months with chemo + IV vitamin C (i.e., about double median survival).[medicine.uiowa +1] •The hazard ratio for death was about 0.46, which corresponds to roughly a 54% lower risk of death during the study period.[letswinpc +1] •Progression‑free survival also improved (about 4→6 months).[medicine.uiowa +1] So the claim that “megadosing vitamin C (75 g, 3×/week) slashes Stage IV cancer death risk by 54% and doubles median survival” is broadly accurate for this specific cancer (Stage IV pancreatic cancer) and this specific trial.[emjreviews +2] Important caveats •Cancer‑type specific: This result is in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, one of the deadliest cancers, not in “all Stage IV cancers.” The effect may not generalize to other cancers.[emjreviews +1] •Small trial: Only about 34–36 patients were enrolled; phase‑II trials are exploratory and need replication in larger phase‑III studies before this becomes standard of care.[clinicaltrials +2] •Route and dose matter: The benefit is with high‑dose IV vitamin C (75 g infusions), not oral “megadoses.” Oral vitamin C cannot achieve the same blood levels.[pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih +1] •Not a cure: It “doubled” a very short median survival (8→16 months), so it’s still measured in months, not years.[letswinpc +1] Bottom line The claim you quoted is essentially true for Stage IV pancreatic cancer in this particular randomized trial, but it is often presented online as if it applies to all Stage IV cancers, which is not supported by current evidence. For any patient considering this, it should be discussed with an oncologist and viewed as investigational supportive therapy, not a proven standalone treatment.[frederick.cancer +4]

What the nattokinase study actually showed •A large open‑label study (over 1,000 adults) used nattokinase 10,800 FU/day for 12 months and reported: •Significant reduction in carotid intima‑media thickness and carotid plaque size on ultrasound.[facebook +1] •Average plaque reduction on the order of 20–30% depending on subgroup and analysis, not literally “95% of patients had plaque reversed.”[substack +2] •Improvements in triglycerides and LDL cholesterol in many participants.[nad +1] •The paper describes the treatment as well tolerated, with no major adverse events reported in that cohort, but it is not powered to prove “zero side effects,” and it was not a double‑blind, placebo‑controlled trial.[pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih +1] So: promising and interesting, but not definitive “95% reversal with zero side effects.”

High-dose nattokinase (10,800 FU daily) reversed arterial plaque in 95% of patients over 12 months and had zero side effects. Statins only suppress cholesterol while causing muscle pain and liver damage. But you'll never hear about nattokinase because it can't be patented.

Introspection is not regret, nor isn't rumination. Introspection from my perspective is an opportunity to see how you can understand what's triggering you or skills you may lack and provide a pathway if not a highway to self correct/course correct by either adding new skills or recognizing that you don't have to react to something that triggers you that emanates from the past (typically something from childhood). Introspection, at least again for my perspective, is about improvement. Introspection is not about beating yourself up. It's not about guilt. It's not about revenge. It's not about shame. It's being in the present moment and saying where do I go from here? And hopefully your answer is "forward. Making these adjustments." It's also the ability to recognize that you are in charge of your life, and you do not have to be blown by the winds of opinions from others or society. It's about maintaining a locus of control and the recognition that you are in charge of your life and you cannot or should not be blaming others for where you are.

Gold Star wife here. My husband didn’t die for Israel. He died because this war has been targeting Americans for decades. Long before most people ever started paying attention. We didn’t suddenly stumble into this because of Israel. Our service members have been in the crosshairs of Iranian-backed terror networks for years. That’s the reality families like mine have lived with. So spare me the talking point that this is “Israel’s war.” Some of us have already paid for it in American blood.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Anatta means there is no fixed, permanent “me” inside us. Instead, what we call “me” is a bundle of changing parts: body, feelings, thoughts, perceptions, and awareness, all constantly shifting. Because nothing in that bundle stays the same or is fully in our control, Buddhism says the "me" (the thing we protect such as our ego and who we think we are ) can be a true. There is no unchanging self. In other words, we are constantly changing. Seeing this clearly is supposed to loosen our tight grip on “I, me, mine,” which reduces suffering and fear. Once you understand, there is no "I, me, mine," you are free. You don't need to defend yourself. You don't need to get defensive. There is nothing to defend My words now: if there is no me/ego I cannot take offense to what others do or say. The idea is liberating because now you are free from your thought thoughts about others' criticisms of you or ridicule and you no longer have to think about what others think of you. Because it doesn't matter. You can just be. You can do whatever you can to become the best at whatever it is you prefer to do.
