Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family. What happened next honestly caught me off guard. By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway. For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes. I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name. But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten. After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too. Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen. This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for. And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸

Occam’s razor wins again. Sometimes the simplest explanation really is the correct one. People had already reached a conclusion long before the evidence had a chance to catch up. Russia and Iran were being blamed before there was even a preliminary medical finding. The medical examiner’s initial finding is an aortic dissection due to underlying cardiovascular disease. It’s a tragic reminder that sudden medical emergencies happen, even to people who seemed fine just hours earlier. That’s why we should all try to follow evidence instead of headlines or propaganda.
Bill Melugin@BillMelugin_

BREAKING: An initial examination from the DC Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) died as a result of “Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease”. In layman’s terms, this means a tear in the aorta caused by hardening & narrowing of arteries as a result of underlying cardiovascular disease. DC Medical Examiner’s Office statement: “The death certificate will be PENDING until all the toxicological and microscopic testing are finalized and at that point the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death.”

After 28 days, this statement still doesn’t answer the fundamental questions about Mitch McConnell’s health. Instead of a written statement and a single photograph, the public deserves clear, direct proof that Senator McConnell is recovering and able to communicate. A brief, unedited video would put nearly all of these questions to rest. The photo itself raises additional questions. The newspaper text is too blurry to independently verify the date or publication, so it does not establish when the photo was actually taken. Elaine Chao’s appearance in the photo also invites scrutiny. To my knowledge, there has been no independent public verification of when she returned to the United States after her trip to China, where she met with the CCP, just three days after 911 transported McConnell to the hospital. If this photo is intended to demonstrate recent events, additional context is absolutely needed because this doesn’t cut it. Then you have Scott Jennings, Senate Leader John Thune, and Senator John Barrasso all publicly stating they had roughly 20-minute conversations with McConnell discussing everything from world affairs to politics. Yet when those claims have been questioned, no independent evidence of those conversations has been made public. Jennings then went on CNN and said McConnell only has “a few more weeks to go,” a comment that drew attention because of the August 3 deadline under Kentucky law. CNN later stated that Jennings does not speak for the network and that it could not independently verify his remarks. Meanwhile, flooring work has been observed at the McConnells’ Capitol Hill townhouse while Senator McConnell has been hospitalized. Without more information, it’s impossible to know whether that work is related to the reported fall, or something else entirely. Reports have also indicated that a tenant is moving out of the townhouse apartment. All signs point to prepping the house to go on the market. The lack of clear public information has only fueled further questions that could be resolved with greater transparency. None of this should require guesswork. Tax payers have paid McConnell’s salary and healthcare costs for over 49 years! A short, unedited video of Senator McConnell speaking directly to the people he represents would answer far more questions than another written statement and a single still photograph. The American people deserve clear answers NOW. McConnell’s staff also should never serve in public office again. VIDEO PROOF OF LIFE NOW!

If Mitch McConnell dies before August 3, Kentucky law would trigger a special election for his Senate seat. The RINOs in power can’t afford for that to happen, which is why this whole situation feels like Weekend at Bernie’s. Weeks have gone by with virtually no meaningful update on the condition of a sitting U.S. Senator. The lack of transparency has been outrageous and has left people wondering whether he’s being kept alive on life support or whether the full truth simply isn’t being told… has he already passed??? Then there’s Elaine Chao, McConnell’s wife, traveling to China to meet with a CCP leader just days after McConnell was hospitalized. Maybe there’s an explanation, but the timing is undeniably odd. Would you leave your husband to travel to China if he is so ill he’s in the hospital for over 20 days? I sure wouldn’t. Something about this entire situation doesn’t add up, and the American people deserve answers. @McConnellPress WE NEED PROOF OF LIFE!

@Sir_Templar I don’t think they want more evidence of Tyler Robinson casing UVU the day before then showing up to take the shot. I’m sure they’ve seen enough.

If I were the DEFENSE, I would supeona the HELL out of these Flock Cameras: University Parkway (SR-265): The main east-west artery leading directly into the campus.Geneva Road (SR-114): Covers the western edge of Orem near the university.1200 West: A major parallel route connecting UVU to residential and retail hubs.Interstate 15 (I-15): Cameras capture plates at major off-ramps (such as Exit 269 for University Parkway) leading to UVU.

Candace, it’s bizarre that you keep posting another woman’s husband like he was your own. At this point, it doesn’t look like journalism. It looks like fixation. Nobody is “punching” at you. People are calling you out because you’ve spent months obsessing over a man who wasn’t your husband, wasn’t your family, and whose loved ones have repeatedly made it clear how harmful this has been. Do you really not have anyone in your life who loves you enough to tell you this has gotten weird? Because it has.
Candace Owens@RealCandaceO

Hope they got it out of their systems. To be honest I didn’t even feel their punches. See you guys on Monday!🔥

MCCONNELL releases a photo - and statement. “To my fellow Kentuckians –    “When you elected me to a seventh term and made me our Commonwealth’s longest serving Senator, you did so trusting that I’d keep showing up to fight for you every day. And over the past several weeks, Elaine and I have appreciated both your well wishes and your honest questions about what was keeping me away from the Senate.   “You all know how folks of my generation often hesitate to share the vulnerability that comes with growing older. Even in the public eye, I feel that same instinct – I can’t help it.   “But at the same time, I’ve had more than my share of experience with physical vulnerabilities. Surviving childhood polio meant spending my entire life with mobility challenges. They haven’t exactly gotten easier to manage with age. And last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital.   “My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia.   “I can assure you that I’ve been a good patient. At my age, I tend to do what my doctors tell me to do. I’ve submitted to every test they can think of to help figure out what caused this incident. And I’m continuing to do everything they ask to speed my recovery. In fact, with signs of continued progress, I’ve been able to move from hospital care to a rehabilitation center where I’ll keep regaining my strength.   “As much as it frustrates me, this process takes time. And on the advice of my doctors, I won’t be able to return to the Senate floor to vote quite yet. But rest assured that, in the meantime, I’m not taking a break from the Senate business that matters to you. I’ve been working closely with my legislative staff on current issues, and with my Kentucky team who help me provide timely constituent services across our Commonwealth. I’ve also been keeping in touch with my Senate colleagues on the appropriations process, midterm politics, and everything in between.   “You’re right to expect your representatives to work hard for you. And part of my decision to retire at the end of my term this coming January was being honest about the demands of Senate work. But I still have unfinished business to complete on your behalf, and I have every intention of finishing the job you elected me to do.   “I’ll keep working hard to get back on the Senate floor as soon as possible. And I’ll keep you posted on the progress of my recovery. Until then, I’m so grateful for your prayers and well wishes.”

@SharrellAnne2 I had a feeling it was something like that. He had to have warnings, but dismissed them. I know, first hand, but I was fortunate enough to realize I might be having a heart attack. That was almost 10 years ago. I’m one of the lucky ones. Every day is a gift.

Today’s lesson challenged me in a way I wasn’t expecting. The pastor encouraged us to make a list of our own needs and keep asking God for them. Not just praying for everyone else, but praying for ourselves too. That sounds simple enough, but it made me realize something about myself. Pride has always been one of my biggest struggles. I don’t like asking people for help, and if I’m honest, sometimes I don’t even ask God. I take on the responsibility, convince myself I’ll figure it out, and carry burdens that were never mine to carry. James 4:2 says, “You do not have because you do not ask God.” Ouch. It’s not that I don’t believe God can provide. It’s that somewhere deep down, I still feel like I should be able to handle it myself. Maybe that’s exactly what Jesus was getting at in Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” So that’s my challenge this week. I’m going to make that list. Not just of the things I need, but of the things I need God to grow in me: more knowledge, more patience, more wisdom, more love, and more understanding. And instead of assuming I have to carry everything on my own, I’m going to ask. 🙏

There was absolutely nothing in me that wanted to get out of bed this morning. Around 2:00 this morning, after getting home from the hospital, I had already decided I wasn’t going to church today. When you live with heart failure, chest pain isn’t something you’re allowed to ignore, so the grandbaby and I made our way to the ER. Thankfully, it turned out to be nothing more than a little extra fluid backing up and not anything more serious. By the time we got home, all I wanted to do was sleep. But the Holy Spirit had other plans. I can’t really explain it other than that gentle nudge that just wouldn’t let me stay in bed. So here I am, headed to church on very little sleep, feeling like I probably need to be there more than I realize. I’m excited to hear today’s sermon because I have a feeling it’s one I really need. I’ll come back after church and let y’all know why I think God wanted me there today. ✝️
