In England they are now recruiting migrants to become Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). Ojuma was motivated to become a PCSO while working as a hotel security guard in Bath. After many positive encounters with the PCSOs who entered his hotel regularly and supported him to retrieve CCTV, he wanted to find out more about the role. Ojuma now wears his uniform with pride and enjoys being out and about policing the community.

19-year-old Benjamin Mitchell posed as a “kind and attentive” Snapchat friend to a lonely, vulnerable 15-year-old girl. Over four months he groomed her relentlessly, sending unsolicited sexual images of himself and emotionally pressuring her into sending up to eight explicit videos a week. Police found 32 Category C indecent images of girls aged 8–11 on his phone, despite a previous conviction for hundreds more. Mitchell admitted he knew her age, was sexually attracted to children and “couldn’t stop.” At Liverpool Crown Court he was jailed for four years with a three-year extended licence, plus a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offenders register for life. Parent’s worst nightmare.

Midland man Jacob Leslie Simcock, 35, from Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, filmed himself raping two different women in separate attacks. He also strangled both victims, used coercive control, stalked them and threatened to share the explicit videos he recorded. Simcock told one woman he would “batter” and “run her over” in his car, and warned the second he would “petrol bomb” her house. He admitted two counts of rape, two of intentional strangulation, two of threatening to share intimate images, controlling/coercive behaviour and stalking at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Remanded in custody until sentencing on July 9. Pure evil

When she asked him to stop because it was painful, he threw her around, punched her repeatedly in the face and body, then got on top of her and raped her while she screamed and begged him to stop. The judge told Swansea Crown Court Ezalden “appeared to be enjoying the experience.” He was convicted of rape and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Sickening.
