Over four months he groomed her relentlessly, sending unsolicited sexual images of himself and emotionally pressuring her into sending up to eight explicit videos a week. Police found 32 Category C indecent images of girls aged 8–11 on his phone, despite a previous conviction for hundreds more. Mitchell admitted he knew her age, was sexually attracted to children and “couldn’t stop.” At Liverpool Crown Court he was jailed for four years with a three-year extended licence, plus a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offenders register for life. Parent’s worst nightmare.

Midland man Jacob Leslie Simcock, 35, from Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, filmed himself raping two different women in separate attacks. Simcock told one woman he would “batter” and “run her over” in his car, and warned the second he would “petrol bomb” her house. He admitted two counts of rape, two of intentional strangulation, two of threatening to share intimate images, controlling/coercive behaviour and stalking at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Remanded in custody until sentencing on July 9. Pure evil
