How long can it take to achieve drug free T2 Diabetes remission? In this case 8 weeks We supplied a continuous glucose monitor instead of drugs and now drugs are not needed. At the moment this is quite against our diabetes guidelines This patient really wonders why ? @parthaskar

So... Another weird thing... About a year into my 3.5 year carnivore journey I developed acne. Sometimes it was quite severe and was always more on the right side of my face. I didn't have acne prior to Carnivore. I thought initially it was just oxalate dumping or detox, but it never went away. Now after changing my diet I have periods where my skin clears up and then suddenly the acne is back again - and it comes on fast. I'm noticing a pattern... It's when I eat beef. 🥹 I'm not sure if it's saturated fat or if it's the beef, so I'll have to test that. I've also noticed that the beef sometimes seems to upset my gut & bowel. I'm praying that this isn't permanent. 🙏 Anyone else had issues like this? It always feels like it's just me.

Saturated fat does not cause insulin resistance in me. In fact, I reversed mine with a diet featuring saturated fat. The proof is my skin tags, markers of insulin resistance, vanished after red meat became 80% of my diet.
McCullough Foundation@McCulloughFund

Keep Saturated Fat Under 10 Grams Daily! Excess saturated fat drives insulin resistance and cardiovascular risk. Keeping intake below 10 grams per day supports metabolic health, reduces inflammation, and improves lipid balance—especially when paired with whole foods and adequate protein. Heart Surgeon Dr. Philip Ovadia
Now let’s talk about heart disease. My goal is for heart disease to end its 70+ year reign as the #1 killer worldwide. For this to happen, the mainstream needs to recognize that heart disease is primarily a metabolic disease. The primary and essential way to treat and prevent it is with diet and lifestyle focused on insulin resistance, not cholesterol levels. @American_Heart @ACCinTouch @SecKennedy

RFK Jr. says most people with Type 2 diabetes don’t need drugs they need a new diet. “Most people with Type 2 diabetes can lose their diagnosis simply by changing their diet.” “It’s much more effective than pharmaceutical drugs or other medical interventions.”

Fat was never the enemy. That myopic view caused people to eat more carbohydrates and getting fat/diabetic
HHS Rapid Response@HHSResponse

.@DrMakaryFDA: “The last 50 years has been dominated by medical dogma, really around one concept, a myopic focus that there was one boogey man in the food supply: natural saturated healthy fats…as we watched a ballooning epidemic that now affects 40% of American kids — obesity, diabetes, other health problems.”

@bigfatsurprise You do know that fats and protein cause insulin to be released as well. You just don't have a "continuous insulin monitor" on. "

@Rachel_ERFF @McCulloughFund Fat and Protein DO indeed spike insulin. We don't have "Continuous Insulin Monitors"...yet. We are just used to seeing the other side of the coin with our CGM's.

@McCulloughFund Haven’t you got that the wrong way around since sat fat doesn’t spike sugar, therefore wont spike insulin!!
