I don't think there's ever been an unattractive female rapper that has gone platinum. Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, Da Brat, Cardi B, Salt n Pepa, Eve, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, and Foxy Brown are all generally considered attractive women. Now, there have been plenty of super-talented female rappers that aren't traditionally beautiful that you could argue are lyrically better then the list I just named. But none of them have achieved superstar status. But when it comes to female R&B singers, looks don't seem to be as important when it comes to commercial success. There are a lot of female singers that have blown up strictly because of their singing ability and not their image. Prove me wrong.
