I think a variation of this resonates with me most: "trying is a skill". But it resonates a lot. You can be more or less practiced at trying, with predictable results in both cases.

It may seem small - the refusal of masks and metal detectors - but it's actually very damning when it comes to those in charge of our public health and safety. The last people who should hold public office are those who can't handle mild inconveniences in order to save lives.

Wish there was more explanation as to why she referred to the people she's denouncing now as "patriots" at the time, but I'd very much like to believe the post-consequences face she's presenting is her real self.

Holding a government official accountable for that is not. This is not just "I don't like what she was protesting".
