Thrilled to see VERITAS out in @NEJM today. Nav bronch noninferior to transthoracic needle biopsy for lung nodules 10-30 mm. Nav bronch made an accurate diagnosis in 79% vs. 73% for TTNB, with pneumothorax requiring chest tube and/or hospitalization in 1% vs. 12%, respectively.

Presented at #ATS2025: In the VERITAS trial, biopsy of indeterminate pulmonary lesions with navigational bronchoscopy was noninferior to that with transthoracic needle biopsy and led to fewer complications.
