@culturedcode for such a thoughtful app repeating tasks feels like an after thought. I recall seeing reference to it being addressed years ago yet nothing. Any chance it’s on your radar?

Ontario Place lease leaves $2 billion shortfall that will cost taxpayers compounding interest for 95 years. This interest will total between $32.4 billion (@3%) - $ 59.9 trillion (@10.9%) @ONPlace4All @chrisglover @TDotResident @corruptario

I don’t know a hack for this but if there’s ever 3 seats and you want 2, you can open another browser that isn’t logged in, choose the single seat that you don’t want and go to reserve tickets, then go to the browser you’re logged in on and choose the two seats because the other one won’t show while it’s in the other basket.

With the removal of the “north plug”, the new Don River is allowed to flow freely into the lake. With the completion of the river, we’ve officially created a new island right downtown, putting new housing within reach. This success is thanks to collaboration between all three levels of government.
To achieve this feat of engineering, countless people across multiple disciplines have applied their innovation and skill. Check out the portraits we’ve captured of people working on site, going back to 2019: portlandsto.ca/multimedia/por…

@PrabSarkaria @TheThanigasalam @CHogarthPC @PrabSarkaria Your office held up 35 units of affordable housing in Minden for over a year. You do not need any more responsibilities, you can’t handle what you have.

@PrabSarkaria Dedicated bike lanes mean I’m not driving and contributing to traffic. You have it backwards.

Our province is stuck in traffic and bike lanes aren’t helping.
In the coming days our government will unveil our plan to work with our municipal partners to ensure bike lanes are introduced in a way that reflects the needs of the entire community.

Why the massive Don River redesign won’t stop flooding on the DVP — but what might

Make no mistake: the flooding we see in the city today is no surprise. It is an outcome of politicians taking a very very very shortsighted view of infrastructure planning and investment.
Take a look at this vote from 2018 requesting an increase in stormwater infrastructure spending. It failed.
Disinvestment in the city leads to the mess you saw today. Same with traffic congestion. Both are an outcome of a broken approach to municipal infrastructure financing - and a lack of leadership.
Every politician who voted no to this - and many more similar votes that were about necessary reinvestment - should be held to account.
They made this mess. This is entirely solvable. We even know *how* to solve it and we have the plans to solve it. But politicians refuse to fund it. Now we will waste billions cleaning up the mess.

@GraphicMatt @CoryJudson Dug up this vote from 2018 rate supported budget that asked for an increase in stormwater infrastructure spending. It failed.
