June marks National Indigenous History Month. Learn about past and present Treaty relationships in what is now Oakville in Debwewin: The Truth Project. This travelling exhibit was created in partnership with @mcfirstnation and @OakvilleCF. Now on until June 29 at 8 Navy Street.

Officially lunched in 2017, today is the first day of National Accessibility Awareness Week (NAAW)! All Peoples whether Indigenous, non-Indigenous, disabled, Elders, parents, children, everyone, has the right to accessible communities, programs, services, and systems, everyone! We have a lot of work still to do to make Canada fully accessible, but we recognize those who are doing their part to remove barriers for all!

Councillor Larry Sault of the @mcfirstnation and @AnwaatinClimate Inc. opened #GLOBExCHANGE 2025 with an important ask of delegates: to ensure that Indigenous Peoples are “front and centre” in the creation of the clean economy.
In his welcome remarks, he prompted Canada’s sustainability leaders to reflect on what reconciliation means for their organizations. “We want to be sure that we are proud of the future we create for generations to come.”
