The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued an Excessive Heat Warning from noon Monday to Tuesday 10pm due to dangerously hot conditions. More than 250 Cooling Center locations have been activated and are open through Wednesday for residents to find relief from the heat.

📷 Heat Alert! 📷 Temperatures are expected to reach between 105°F and 115°F this week. Prepare by checking our list of cooling centers across McHenry County, managed by the @McHenryEMA. Drink plenty of water, limit time in the heat, & head to a cooling center if you need relief.
