They named it the “Billionaire Tax” so you wouldn’t read it. I read it. Page 26 lets Sacramento convert it to a tax on EVERYONE without your vote. Same people. Same trick. They did it with AB 130. Newsom said he’d never sign a mileage tax. Page 137. Already signed. Now page 26. Your house. Your 401k. Your savings. No vote required. A MIT professor gave a 1-hour lecture in 2019 that has 18 million views. He died 5 months after recording it. It was his final gift to the world. Patrick Winston taught at MIT for 50 years. The smartest engineers on earth sat in his classroom. And he spent his last lecture teaching them the one skill their degrees never covered. How to speak. 15 lessons that will change how you communicate forever: Never open with a joke. Your audience is not ready to laugh yet. Open with a promise of what they will know by the end. Your ideas are like your children. You are too close to them. What is obvious to you is invisible to everyone else. Explain the obvious. The 5-minute rule: the first 5 minutes of any talk determine whether people will listen for the next 55. Spend more time on your opening than anything else. Repeat your most important idea 3 times in 3 different ways. Once is never enough. Build a fence around your idea. Tell people what it is NOT before you tell them what it IS. Verbal punctuation. Pause. Let the idea land before moving to the next one. Ask questions nobody will answer. Then wait 7 seconds. The silence is not awkward. It is processing. Never read your slides. Your audience can read. They cannot listen and read simultaneously. Use the board not the slides. Writing forces you to slow down. Slowing down forces clarity. Inspire before you inform. Nobody learns from someone they are not inspired by. End with a contribution not a summary. Tell them what you gave them. Not what you said. Never say thank you at the end. It is weak. End with something that lands. Stories make ideas stick. Data makes ideas understood. You need both. In that order. The quality of your communication determines the quality of your ideas in the eyes of the world. Not the ideas themselves. Practice is not preparation. Practice IS the skill. Patrick Winston understood something most people spend their entire careers missing. Your ideas are only as powerful as your ability to transfer them into someone else's mind. You can be the smartest person in the room and be completely invisible. Or you can master communication and make average ideas feel like breakthroughs. He chose to spend his last lecture teaching this. Watch it tonight. Bookmark this first. Follow @cyrilXBT for more lessons from the people who built the future.

"History PhD here--the number of World Wars is actually a *very* controversial topic in academia. Some say there have been two (traditional view), while others say up to sixty-four. Scholars disagree, and that's okay! What's NOT ok are these RACIST attacks on Rep Omar!"

Rep. Ilhan Omar: “The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked… during World War ELEVEN.” She must have gotten her education in the Quality Learing Center.

So I take the wife and 3 girls to dinner. Leaving the restaurant, I hit FSD in the Tesla. Literally drives me from the restaurant parking spot to my driveway, without me having to do anything. Get home: Me: “See! Isn’t that amazing!” Them: “uh it pulled up in the middle of the driveway. It didn’t even pull up to your side. It’s not that good.” Me:

In 2024 $MSTR showed what happens when a long base resolves with a catalyst; fast, vertical expansion. $ARM is coming out of a similar (but even larger) structure supported by secular tailwinds & a narrative shift in the AI super cycle I’m not necessarily expecting a straight +200% move… but this is how multi-month markup phases begin What I’m Watching: -Retests of the breakout level for a cleaner entry (if we’re lucky 🤞) -Higher lows -Increasing volume -Strong OTM call flows -EMAs to act as support -Volume contraction on pullbacks

But the biggest story has to be CPUs stealing GPUs spotlight. $INTC earnings on Thursday were the latest catalyst that sent $AMD $ARM $QCOM even $NVDA(with its new Vera CPU) all caught a bid along with it. So what’s the big deal about CPUs and why will they lead the charge of the next leg of the AI trade? LLMs were calculators. One prompt → math → token out. That’s GPU work. Agents are managers. They break problems into steps, call tools, parse files, run code, then loop back and decide what to do next. Always on. Never idle. Every step in that loop that isn’t “predict the next token” is CPU-native. Logic. File handling. Network calls. Orchestration. The stuff GPUs were never built for. Training runs in bursts. Agents run 24/7. This is what brings AI closer to the user, taking it out of the data center and into your phone, your car, your glasses, your home. Always on, always reasoning, always acting on your behalf. That’s a CPU job.

Automobile kill-switches are coming soon to car dealerships near you. I teamed up w/ Scott Perry & Chip Roy to defund this Orwellian mandate, but too many colleagues (Republican & Democrat) voted against us, so the federal mandate for every new car after 2026 is still in place.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie

Federal law says new cars after 2026 must monitor drivers and shut down if the car disapproves. Your dashboard should not be judge, jury, and executioner. @RepScottPerry @RepChipRoy offered an amendment to defund the automobile kill switch mandate. Here’s our debate:

The gunman's manifesto is indistinguishable from the views promoted by the mainstream Left, the Democrats, the liberal media every single day. Stop saying we have a political violence problem in America. We have a Left-wing political violence problem in America. batya-us.com/p/we-dont-have…

If your entire identity is tied to a stock you’re in a cult, not an investor. You’ll be drinking every ounce of copium juice you can and circle jerk in the echo chambers. You 100% have Stockholm syndrome. The stock will never be high enough to sell, cause there’s always more. And never low enough it’s not a “generational dip buy”. See it with $TSLA with $GME with $ASTS and virtually every stock out there. You’re the easiest target on the on planet for big money and THEY KNOW IT! Wanna make money? Move like big money. They buy and sell all the time. Sure they may have a core positions they like, but they will trim the fat every time it runs. They manage it and make business decisions while they know there is plenty of emotional liquidity to go around. Do. What. Winners. Do.
