Matua Dominated Nadia District has seen Highest Deletion Rate amongst Under Adjudication Voters which is 78%. Matuas were known to be strong Vote Bank of BJP.

Reports Suggest EC has written a letter of Chief Justice of Calcutta HC asking why some areas have high inclusion rate. EC wants to delete as many as possible.

Although, it is too oversimplistic right now but based on my Preliminary Assessment, there are 26 seats where the Number of Deleted Voters MAY surpass TMC’s Leading Margin in 2024 Lok Sabha. TMC Led in 192 ACs in 2024 LS. Below is the District Wise Break Up –
North 24 Parganas: 5 Seats
Purba Bardhaman: 4 Seats
Paschim Bardhaman: 3 Seats
Nadia: 3 Seats
Cooch Behar: 2 Seats
