@JonBuildsHQ I’m curious whether the chaos leads to things like missed priorities, wasted time, or realizing too late that you’ve been focusing on the wrong thing.
@JonBuildsHQ I feel you 😂
When you say it’s chaotic and disorganized, does that actually create problems for you, or do you still feel like you’re generally moving in the right direction?
Day 60 of 365 of building PageGains.com in public:
✅ Another sale yesterday, still the best feeling in the world!
✅ Fixed issues on the frontend found by existing users
✅ Reached 1,800+ followers here, aiming to sprint to 2,000!
What is your main goal for today? 👇
@JonBuildsHQ Makes sense on the X side.
I’m curious about the execution side though.
Do you actively track the commitments you make to yourself (daily goals, weekly goals, priorities, etc.), or is it more intuitive and experience-driven at this point?
I want to connect with more

@_tobiajayi@X@keeponboard My pleasure, productivity was a part of my journey for many years, I can definitely say, that I'm still learning.
Some days are 90%, some days are 30%, it's just the way it is :)
Hey @X👋
Looking to #connect with fellow founders, startups, builders and indie hackers.

@_tobiajayi@AlyaBlt_ I'm ex-forces, so discipline was drilled into me pretty early, but discipline only gets you somewhere faster. You still need to be moving in the right direction.
That's why I'm such a believer in feedback loops.
Hey founders !

Drop what you're working on 👇
@_tobiajayi@AlyaBlt_ Yeah, I think tools matter, but they come after the process.
A great tool won't help much if you're building the wrong thing.
For me it's more about staying close to users, getting feedback, and adjusting course when needed.
@markpekel@X@keeponboard That’s helpful, thanks for sharing.
The interesting part for me is that the review creates awareness. Without looking back, it’s hard to know what’s actually helping or hurting your progress over time.
Appreciate the perspective.
@_tobiajayi@X@keeponboard In GTD there's a practice called weekly review, in which you cover all that you done, how you did it, and if you have time, you start to plan based on that the week ahead.
It doesn't work for a lot of people IMO, but It works for me.
@LeeMazzone87@AlyaBlt_ Do you think most people struggle because they lack discipline, or because they lack awareness of what’s actually helping or hurting their progress over time?
@LeeMazzone87@AlyaBlt_ Solid!
What stands out to me is that you didn’t mention any specific tool or framework, more the habit of consistently running the same loop: build, get feedback, improve, repeat.
@markpekel@X In that sense, productivity isn’t just about what you completed today, it’s also about understanding the patterns behind your execution.
Curious if you’ve found that to be true in your own experience, or if you see it differently.
@markpekel@X A lot of people seem to treat productivity as simply checking off tasks. But I’m starting to think it’s more about understanding why some days go well, why others don’t, and using those insights to make better decisions over time.
@markpekel@X@keeponboard Without that visibility, it’s hard to know which habits, decisions, or patterns are helping and which are holding you back.
How have you personally developed that awareness?
@markpekel@X@keeponboard That’s an interesting perspective.
What I’ve been wondering is whether part of the challenge is that most people don’t have a clear record of how they actually execute over time.
@markpekel@X I’m building Execution AI, a system that connects long-term goals to daily execution while helping people identify the patterns behind their follow-through.
Right now, I’m focused on understanding who experiences this problem most and if understanding their pattern is of value.
@markpekel@X I’d love to join the conversation.
To be honest, I’m not at the scale where I can confidently answer that yet.
Right now I’m still in the beta/discovery stage, trying to better understand who experiences this problem most and whether the solution is genuinely helping.
@markpekel@X@keeponboard Curious though, with everything involved in building a product, how do you personally stay accountable to the goals you set for yourself?
Have you built any systems, routines, or processes that help you stay on track?
@markpekel@X@keeponboard That’s an interesting way to look at it.
I like the idea that retention starts before onboarding and that the right ICP should already feel like the product was built for them.
@LeeMazzone87@AlyaBlt_ That’s interesting.
Building a product, talking to users, improving the platform and staying consistent over months takes a lot of discipline, and that’s just one area.
Curious, what systems do you personally use to stay accountable and keep yourself moving toward your goals?
@_tobiajayi@AlyaBlt_ Over a few months we’ve been gradually building early interest, and recently picked it back up again with more consistent testing, which is where most of the current users came from.
Still very early, just iterating and learning as we go 🚀
